After all he did, and he gets PROBATION? My God, why do we even bother to have courts and judges and jails anymore? It's not like anyone has to actually PAY for their crimes in this day and age. If I were a relative of any of his victims, he would be looking over his shoulder in fear for the rest of his rotten life. Disgusting.

It is a very dangerous policy that a case is simply 'dropped' and the accused walks away when a victim dies. This is the 21st century, you can't prosecute with depositions, victim witness statements, video or audio recordings? You merely don't pursue a man that is a menace to the public? I would say that subsequent victims have a pretty good case themselves... against the prosecutor's office - and the facility that failed to report it.

I kow this It is a disgusting dangerous place to be if you are a patient. I hope they are sued for millions and anyone hired this man are fired. His license was already on probation, and yet they hired this man in a position of trust.

Surgically remove one of his eyes. Then tell him if it happens again they'll remove his other eye. Thus removing all temptation, and making him practically incapable of commiting such a crime again...

So now this person who has no respect for the people he pledged to take care of in an ethical/prefessional manner is on probation and not "allowed to have contact' with people will now be forced to go to the streets to get his "fix". The problem is him and nothing got done to fix his illness. What will the legal system do when someone gets raped/murdered? Shame on the prosecutors and the judge for letting this happen. He needs to be locked up and find out first handed that being abused is not right. He is a sick person and unsafe to society because he just proved he is above the law, probation is nothing.

YES. WEAK CASE AGAINST LAING. WHY STAR WITNESS DID NOT TESTIFY? THE STATE RECOGNIZED THAT THE 38 YR STORY DID NOT MAKE MUCH SENSE. THE STATE COULD HAVE GOTTEN IN TROUBLE WITH THE JURY. GOING TO PRISON WAS NOT IN HIS INTEREST. I THINK THAT THEY AGREED ON HAVING SEX, HAD SEX AND THEN SHE CHANGED WHAT REALLY HAPPENED. THIS IS THE ONLY WAY ANY OF THIS MAKE SENSE. SHE IS NOT TELLING THE TRUTH. HE SHOULD HAVE AVOIDED THE SEX. WHAT WOULD HAVE HAPPEN IF HE WON TRIAL? THE STATE DID NOT WANT HIM TO WIN. THE STATE REALIZED THAT HE COULD WIN. THE STATE DID EVERYTHING TO ASSURE VICTORY. MORE IMPORTANTLY, THE STATE DID NOT WANT HIM WORKING AS A NURSE ANYMORE. HE RECOGNIZED THAT HE COULD LOOSE AND GO TO PRISON. WHY SHOULD HE GO TO PRISON WHEN HE AND THE GIRL KNOW THAT HE IS INNOCENT? THIS GIRL NEEDS TO TELL THE TRUTH. SHE WILL TELL THE TRUTH ONE DAY. EVERYONE WILL THEN BE SHOCK. REMEMBER I TOLD YOU SO!

Probation?
I think we need to go back to an eye for an eye as punishment.

This term-dirty little girl showed up after her second visit with ocoee detectives. He called her dirty little girl, had sex with her and she said nothing for 4 days. her friends convienced her to go to the police. she was alert, walking eating and toileting herself. This a fantastic story. someone will prove her a liar one day.

Okay...well I can give you more. I have experience in these types of cases. Your argument that she changed the story may make you feel better. However, the truth is that many of these cases do not go to trial UNLESS the prosecution has a reasonable chance of winning. What we do not have is all the facts. Many times for complex legal reasons, vital evidence is not presented because it was thrown out. Either the way in which it was obtained was faulted (but not necessarily faulty!) or some other issue was raised in the evidence chain. The prosecution may not have been able to put the witness on the stand or felt it would not be appropriate (ie, too emotionally difficult). Criminal prosecution is weighted on the side of the accused (for good reason...innocent til proven guilty and all that), HOWEVER, sometimes this burden is too heavy for the prosecution to bear. To put it off to "she must have changed her story..." may make you feel better in the long run. But the truth is that rape is a most difficult crime to prosecute. They had something or he would not have pleaded....they just didn't have enough to put him under the jail.

Thanks! I think that they had some type of sex act between them. That is why the girl did not tell anyone at that time. It was not sexual assult etc. She turned aganist him later. Yes, they got something on him, she knows was his penis looks like. She knows that she is not telling the truth. This man did assult her. She gave him a B job and he get 15 year probation. She need to tell the truth.
