Tell ya what, ole' Jethro here's a teacher and I'll be damned if I'm gonna die on a campus. Problem with Orlando, though, you can even be killed at church, Wal mart, the bank, whereever. The only people who are safe are the employees at Orlando Weekly, Cleo's, Craigslist and the MBI. That's where law enforcement focuses all their resources. Oh yeah, an 11 year old was arrested at an elementary scool on a gun charge earlier this week.

You know, that General Area of Orlando needs a HUGE enema!
The kid's name is "Octavius Vashawn Walden"... not to get off subject, but was that not the name (Octavious) of one of the characters from Planet of the Apes?

I am sick to death of all the violence going on in our schools. I guess I cannot talk because my 12 year old had been bullied all year and he finally wised up and threw this idiot in a garbage can and MY SON was the one who got the 10 days suspension. No weapons involved or anything like that. It kinda makes me sick that someone who brings a gun to school gets the same punishment as a kid who finally stood up to a bully and had never been in trouble at school. Thanks a lot Orange County Schools. From now on, I will be homeschooling my kid!!!!

and before anyone mentions anything stupid about race, my son is white and this idiot is black. But I guess bullies come in all shapes, sizes and colors.

My kid too, was the victim of a bully for two years. The bully wound up being killed by his brother. It's sad because you never know what is going on in the home that makes children act out this way. It always starts in the home. People need to be parents to their children, not just sorry *ss excuses for babysitters. Not to say that things like this don't go on at schools in nice neighborhoods but when we moved and my child was transferred to Dr. Phillips elementary, things definitely got better.

I don't think that poster was serious about that. At least I hope he wasn't that stupid. Things like this really do make you want to look into homeschooling. I can't imagine being a teacher and not being armed at all times. Sad way to think, but it's true with the way kids are now.

Doesn't matter the race, but I am sure we can all tell given what this individual's name is. Furthermore, Ocoee High is SO ghetto. The first week that school opened, there was a small riot in the cafeteria with teachers and administrators being hit and punched. What a piece of crap school. Very charasteristic of that area of town however.
