I saw Miss Kitty on Channel 6 this morning and she said she didn't know what the press conference was about. Yeah right. This is serious. They are probably looking at prison time...right? They need it.

This proves that the system works as intended. Someone came forward with information to law enforcement personnel and that information was taken to the grand jury for consideration.

To say this is business as usual is a slap in the face of the honest, hardworking employees of Tulsa. To ask the Mayor what she knew shows ignorance of the grand jury system because no one is allowed to speak about what is said in the grand jury room. The Mayor was kept out of the loop until the indictments were unsealed. That's the law.

I am glad this came out before work on our streets and bridges begins in earnest.

I've known Albert Martinez for years. This is a real shock. Very disappointing if true. However bad it seems (and it does seem bad), let's not forget all accused are innocent until proven guilty.

This is why I voted no the street improvement. That money will never go to the streets instead it will end up in someones pocket. This is not the only corruption at city hall all you have to do it look around you can see it everywhere

I voted against the street improvement... I knew something had to be going with the money... because there should have been money all along for street bridges and other improvements

I knew that there was something that was going on because this guy, Martinez always had extra money in his pocket, I always wondered how a City Employee had a lot of money. He was always out in bars and clubs, spending lots of money, and always loaning money like it was water. He always seemed like a likeable person, but I knew something was suspicious.

Daily Horoscope for December 22

Aries

Financial muddles are more than likely today so be careful if you're going shopping. You might be accidentally short-changed or there could be a misunderstanding about how much something costs. This isn't a good day to lend friends anything valuable in case they don't return it or they damage it in some way. Better safe than sorry.
