Good article. As a resident of Merrick, I'm happy to see a large organic food store open up closer to home than Whole Foods, which is all the way in Manhasset. Although there is a Trader Joe's in Merrick , and I enjoy shopping there, I find they're lacking in their selection of fresh produce. Now, all we need in the area is a farmer's market that sells locally grown organics. However, a big complaint I have about this article is that the writer failed to mention the address. As someone relatively unfamiliar with Oceanside's landmarks, I would've appreciated the author at least mentioning the street in which the store is located.

I visited the Oceanside store and I was very impressed with the varitey of natural products available. Easy to find products, samples of products, loads of information about natural products.I finally found my favorite apples "pink lady". Produce locally grown and meat fresh, fresh, fresh. This is truly a one stop shop Farmer's Market. The employee's are also very helpful and plesant, even at 8:30am when I like to shop. I believe everyone that shops there will be equally please, or I hope you will be. It was a wonderful experience.

Thanks for the update. Hope those organic products don't give anyone salmonella, e. coli, lead and/or mercury poisoning. Or break your bank account. Don't let the ISP deceive: I'm not a native of Boca - I HATE Boca: this place is worse than Long Island and has "Whole Food Market" and "Publix Greenwise" - sure - fine. Why not grow our own tomatoes, cucumbers, squash, corn, watermelons, asparagus (aka - the plant that never dies), hot chili peppers, etc.? Afraid of the salt in the soil? Wash off? How and when to plant your seedlings? Why? A good garden is a healthy plan - why buy "natural" when everything is natural??? IN FL - nothing is natural - especially since all produce (well, most of it anyway) is sold to OTHER STATES!
