Oceana resident wrote: <quoted text>I agree if he is doing a documentary on this town then he needs to involve the good as well. I too was addicted to Lortabs nothing stronger but it is very hard to deal with someone calling me a junkie. I by NO means EVER used a needle or snorted any damn thing. Maybe I did do wrong but I saw the error in my way and quit before it got to out of control. Why doesnt he mention that there are ppl that has gotten off the crap and not returned. Maybe then he could give them some sort of hope that there is a chance. But bashing them and calling them names is not the way to do it. You make them feel worse than they did already. Believe it or not I think that the addiction cycle begins with depression and it never at least not for me made me high or stoned it just made me feel like my old self again. I could have chose to go on to Oxys or worse but I didnt I refused to allow myself to turn down that road. I worked EVERY day and took care of my kids they were my saving grace during this difficult time. Good for you!! I'm being sincere. It's not easy to break any addiction. He's not going to focus on any positives. That's clear. Not even the positive people/businesses/etc that the drugs effect. If anyone had a doubt, they need only watch that teaser he posted. Depression does play a big role in it. But, there's such a stigma around depression, people aren't encouraged to go see a dr and be treated for it. You're a very strong person.:)

Hey, Glen, tell us what benefit this film will have for the drug addicts who will be featured in it.

Anyone in this documentary has to sign a waiver before they are filmed. After completion, anyone in the law enforcement community could get warrants, etc. to confiscate those waivers and the film to indict those same people with drug charges. Just think about that pregnant woman losing her newborn child. Go ahead, be filmed. WHY DID YOU REMOVE THIS POST BEFORE?

I just emailed him with the information on the GOOD places that are trying to HELP. He needs to know people try. I don't know if anyone will agree to being in the film. I hope they will.

http://www.register-herald.com/local/x5007789... It's the BIG PHARMACEUTICAL companies of course, and DOCTORS. Everyone knows its all about the "Benjamins." There's too much money in it for the powers that be to do anything about it..Sad fact. The answer to this problem is relatively simple...STOP MAKING THE CRAP...We have drugs made for TERMINALLY ill people to stop their suffering in the final days of their lives, yet MILLIONS of these pills are on the market being prescribed for everything from having a wisdom tooth extracted to a hangnail... The film in question possibly will shed a bad light on this area or it may help.. Who knows at this point, but as the old saying goes, we need to do something, even if it's wrong. Just saying.

Well if she is a druggie, she deserves to lose custody of her newborn child. If she really cared(if she uses that is)maybe she would think twice about doing drugs again and again and again!!!

when this movie comes out, it is going to cause a real finger pointing war so we can sort out who the druggies are and who is full of crap - no one's life will be improved - except Sean Dunne's. Are we supposed to be reforming these drug abusers or arresting them all?
