Anyone remember the Great Atlantic Hurricane of 1944? Anyone effected by it? Have pictures? My great aunt, Caroline Nick, was a nurse caring for a woman named Marie Voshake and she died in the hurricane of '44. Her body was found buried under a foot of sand and debris. I'd like to find out more about it.

Dave - Only vague fact I have is "a wood frame house 1 block from the boardwalk" in Sea Isle City. That could be anywhere.

I would like to know more about Marie Voshake. I've been tracking my family's geneology and since it is an unusual name this caught my interest. Contact me at mike.voshake@hotmail.com

Daily Horoscope for December 24

Pisces

Although you're busy putting the finishing touches to your Christmas preparations, you'll also have to pay attention to someone who's feeling neglected or unloved. Luckily, it won't take much to make this person feel better, so a big hug or a little consideration might do the trick. You should also bear in mind that they may be feeling nostalgic or sad about the past.
