Connie why the lies around ocean springs, posters for 2% Food tax for police and the kids. And now it is for (infrastructure) or to pad your pockets. Sounds like a B.S Line to me.

Curious, I think Frank Leach should run for mayor or alderman. Don't you agree he would be great for the city? I wonder if he could ever get elected again though?

I think Frank would certainly shake things up, but I'm not sure he's electable.

Downtown Ocean Springs is always clean. The rest of the city is a different story.

Ocean Springs City Hall is pure poison. They can't keep a city clerk in place. Why? Because when things get tough, the mayor uses them as sacrificial lambs or lightning rods.

You know what would help?

Finding the Public Works Director, showing him the exit and saying, "You are a convicted felon. We do not employ convicted felons. Go through this exit and never come back."

Yeah, that would help.

The Public Works Department is the only city department that's worth a darn. Ditto for Andre Kaufman, who is the only department head who is worth a darn.

The PW director is a bane to the city and to city employees, and has contributed to the poisonous atmosphere in City Hall. This I know. That the average citizen doesn't know this is the real secret of his longevity.

The biggest bane to the city is Connie Moran who has, directly or indirectly,ran off the following department heads:

Donovan Scruggs
Jill McDonnell
Damian McKay
Greg Eleuterius
Kerry Belk
Mark Hare
Adrienne Howell

I feel like I'm missing somebody

The only reason she hasn't gotten rid of Andre is because she knows that she needs him.

Greg Wilson - Building Official
Paul Fox - Building Inspector
Louie Miller - Detective Captain

All of the above will tell you privately if asked they left employment with the city because they refused to work for this mayor who they say has no integrity and because she is a lousy boss.

It is apparent that College Station, TX is a former disgraced City Clerk named Janet D.. Her departure from the State Auditor's office was met with much joy and happiness and her resignation from Pass Chrisitian was mourned by no one. Her departure from the City of Ocean Springs resulted in a grand party. This is the same individual who, on two occasions, attempted to have the purchasing agent write illegal purchase orders and when the PA refused she reprimanded her. On both occasions Civil Service forced Janet D. to eat her reprimands. Her bitterness towards the Public Works Director is because he stood up to her and called her hand with the support of all other City Department Heads. As I am a long time City employee I am personally aware of her bitterness towards Andre' but as previously stated her departure was welcomed and had she not resigned she would have soon been fired. This did not occur under Connie's administration. As to the allegation they are drinking buddies I doubt this has occurred on more than a half dozen occasions and certainly no more so than other elected officials and City employees.
