I encourage anyone who would like to know how to avoid scams to visit the site as well as if you are a victim it is essential you get help now.

If you can read and comprehend this article, you are already in good shape not to be a victim. It is the people that haven't or can't that are screwed. We should prosecute these crimes much tougher, stop these con artists from going on and on. At the same time, there is no cure for greed or stupidity. Stop trying to cut corners and get rich quick, c'mon people.

The Sun-Sentinel has yet to win a Pulitzer, and it's easy to see why.

These 3 scams should be obvious by now to anyone with half a brain. What amazed me when I lived in Scamville USA was some of the other scams I'd heard about, like the guy in a pest control uniform spraying your lawn. When you go out to ask him what he's doing he tells you there's construction a few blocks away and they're spraying around the neighborhood to keep the pests from spreading from the construction site to your lawn. He then engages you in conversation while his partner enters your house and robs you blind.

Sounds like the I.N.S. needs to visit the Sun Sentential offices and do a check.

The head line should read, "A fool And His Money Are Soon Parted". The way s-s writes it, it would be "The Parted Fool Is Soon Without Money".

Anyone who falls for any of these scams deserves to be taken. How d*mn stupid can people be?!

If you're stupid (or greedy enough yourself) to think you're getting something for nothing, and falling for those "cons", you deserve to be taken for all you have!... and if the "old-timers" is so severe you're that gullible, you should probably not be left alone, anyway. No patience for stupidity!
