Boca Raton area may get more exits for Florida's Turnpike

Something on Yamato would be great. But I don't see where there is any room, Big country clubs on that corner. Buying land in Woodfield or Boca West would be difficult. Clintmore still has farm land to the west. Palmetto? Again, I don't see how there would be any room without expensive residential land purchases

yamato for a partial interchange is a great idea! Tons of offices in the area.

Clint Moore makes sense, but it doesn't. Sure there looks like room to do whatever they want to do, but to what end? If you come off the turnpike there, then you still have to drive to somewhere else - there simply are no offices or businesses there for these commuters to go to. More traffic then means the further widening of Clint Moore and on and on it goes. Plus of course, the rich people out there won't allow it to happen any way, so it's all moot.

What's with all the meetings and crap? If it's needed, build it !

Much money would be saved if they just eliminated the Glades Toll Plaza.

A solution that probably is just too simple.

For the purpose of addressing the idea, just set aside separately for a moment the TOTAL costs ($$$$$$) that people are spending to OWN, OPERATE, and MAINTAIN auto vehicles. A very conservative national figure would undoubtedly be something in the neighborhood of 37 Billion dollars a year.

Consumers / taxpayers are literally also paying out BILLIONS of dollars (with a capital "B") for the infrastructure (roads, lighting, signs, bridges, guardrails, traffic jams, road maintenance, repairs, traffic enforcement, Road Rangers, emergency responders, parking facilities, junk yards, etc., etc., etc., etc., etc., etc., etc.) in order for auto vehicles to get around.

PLUS.......... our heavy dependence on foreign oil, of which auto vehicles is the major cause, is devastating our nation.

Effects on other traffic in the nearby vicinity and even not so nearby vicinity, stalling the flow of traffic lanes that people use to get to and from work, etc. Measures for PREVENTING the crashes, such as driver licensing and establishing extensive traffic laws and road rules, costly traffic enforcement and control, driver education, vehicle safety rules, are all proven to be ineffective.

o High RECURRING private and civil costs to own, maintain, and operate auto vehicles.

o Severely negative nationwide effects due to our heavy dependence on foreign imported oil, for which auto vehicles are the major cause.

o Ability for extremely dangerous crimes against the public to be easily (and often successfully) carried out via the use of auto vehicles.

They are human beings and human beings are ALWAYS going to make mistakes. Always and always. Forever and ever. Always have and they always will. Mistakes in actions and mistakes in judgement. NOBODY is going to change human beings. NOBODY. So it is IMPOSSIBLE that THEY be the place to apply the fault and the SOLUTION. So that leaves just the auto vehicles to be under scrutiny.
