Review: AMOR Mexican & Italian Cuisine

The restaurant is very cozy and comfortable with water views. This was one of the worst service restaurants I had ever seen. After we were seated it took 15 minutes for someone to bring us water and then another 10 minutes to just get some tortilla chips. First appetizers were served about 45 minutes after we were seated. The zucchini apps were $8.95 and there was barely a mouthful in the plate, what a JOKE! Then, when the entrees were served two people in our party of four was served first and then the third about 8 minutes later and finally the fourth 5 minutes after that with COLD mashed potatoes. NO liquor, but iced tea is $2.50 a glass no refills included. Not once did the owner try to compensate for the delay by offering any complimentary dessert or anything, she made excuses such as their kitchen is small and everything is made to order and saying hope that you'll give us another chance in the future. Save yourself the time and aggrevation and take your business elsewhere !!! Trust me on this !!!

This place is too overpriced..

Our dinning experience was very pleasurable. The food was excellent and the service was fine. We had 8 people in our party and everyone was well satisified with their meal. We all agreed that we would return to this restaurant due to our positive experience.

The restaurant was amazing, food was great and so was the service

I had a party of 40 and it went perfect

a must if you love italian or mexican food

I was here this summer and had a very nice experience. I highly recommend the table side made Guacamole. The service was excellent.

It's a shame, but the service and food were considerably terrible and over-priced. I wish I could say something nice, but I can't.

And we were'nt even able to try that "tableside guacomole"..
It was only 8:30 pm, but we were told that the "guacomole maker" had went home already...

My bf and I drove by there last Sunday, Sept 27th, around 6 pm...
NOT ONE CAR in parking lot!!
They appear to either be CLOSED, or CLOSED FOR SEASON
(or maybe "closed for a reason")

Walked by Amor today, 2 pm, after having great wings at Charlie's.....

Only 3 cars in parking lot, but Amor WAS open..
I walked in, and it was empty except for the waitress who was sitting at an empty table waiting for potential customers..
She said they are open every day..

Those chicken enchiladas my bf had are $17.95, which includes rice.(MUCH too expensive, IMO)
On the bottom of the menu, it says "Add beans for $2.50 extra"...

Can you believe that for $17.95, one does NOT even get beans included???

the service is fine & fast in this place plus the food is hot & all comes out together. I have now eaten here 4 times over the past 3 months & have not had one even tiny bad seating..........

This place is a must try..........
