I used to be amused by Cynthia on channel 7 when she would enunciate her last name with such pride. The expressions on her Hispanic cohorts would say it all; but, it was just fine. I'm anglo-, and coming from a region of little ethic diversity, I have little knowledge of the Spanish language. My friends are bemused when I enunciate so many of the names around here in my anglicized manner. I'm of Irish descent but don't even attempt to enunciate Irish phrases in their Gailic form. But, to the subject; Marla is cool, no matter what the inflection. Rock on, rock star!
