You are right the people of Doty are very close to each other. But I must say that not everyone was able to get help the way they should have. I had 9-10 feet in my home and since I live of the main path I was over look by most. I did not get FEMA money to rebuild my home and I did get a little bit from the Red Cross to help get some clothes, blankets, and some other house hold needs. I ended up relocation with my kids and have only been back for 7 months and my home still is not finished.I have never seen so many people willing to help and I am gratful for that.People were being give gift cards and money by strangers. People from different towns, states were sending help to Lewis County, but I wonder where all the money and donation went to if not everyone got helped?
