When is mullins going to trial? I understand it is sometime in December. Do you think it will actually happen, or will his lawyers figure out a way to stall it off? If mullins were so guilt free, you would think he would be looking forward to his day in court, kind of like tisdale! I know a lot of people in Oakland believe he will "get sick", or "need more time to prepare" etc., anything but face the evidence head-on. One clever little trick is, "my attorney is down with the flu", or like gimmick. The more guilty a person is the more likely they are to ask for more time.

HIGH RATE- Mayor Mullins is looking forward to this trial- and it will be a trial, he is not nor will he ask for a plea deal. Can't say about TISDALE.

Thanks for the input, when is the trial date? Ref: tisdale, is doing everything he can NOT to have a trial, this does not seem like a man with no guilt to me. I only know if I were innocent of a crime as charged, I would want my day in court as soon as possible, in order to clear my name. I believe almost everyone feels the same way. As tisdales lawyer has had access to ALL the evidence against him, he lawyer and tisdale must feel they can prove his guilt. I wonder if tisdale's stalling tactic will effect the mullins trial? I hope the D.A. is able to conclude the tisdale matter, prior to the mullins trial, as tisdale has also been indicted with mullins, tisdale's second set of criminal charges. I was looking forward to tisdale's trial, because I wanted to see what kind of "clever" trick his lawyer was planning. I thought that he might try "divine intervention", trying to claim the dog was dead, but a miracle caused him to rise from his grave, come back to life, and find his way to Atoka to be a family pet!!! It would have been a good try, but I don't think it would have worked! Let's face it, the living dog is a real problem for the tisdale defense, as are the two low level cops that will undoubtedly testify againt tisdale. It does seem very unlikely that they acted alone. You can't be a cop on the OPD force, if you do not do exactly what the chief says, nothing more nothing less. We have un-thinking cops. They have learned not to "rock the boat", if for example one of mullins friends or supporters is stopped drunk driving, instead of an arrest, you make sure they are driven home, no charges. It is sad we have a police force in this shape.

I really hope you are correct about this! It would be a shame if there was a "sudden sickness", or a sudden need for "more time to prepare". I feel these type of stalling tactics are almost always a sure sign of guilt. Mullins will do himself a lot of good to show up and "get on with it". He has a lot of charges in his indictment, I think the hardest ones to over come will be the, destroying evidence and asking others to destroy evidence. If these are proven, then he is guilty of the rest. No one would destroy evidence that proved them not guilty, nor would they try to get someone to destroy evidence that proved them not guilty. And if they did, they would need mental help. Does anyone know the date? There seems to be a lot of experts on what mullins is going to do, but non seem to know when the trial is.

I read who testified at the tisdale Grand Jury, you'll never see their testimony. But you can almost guess what was said by the promotions handed out. Hogwood, and gains were called as witnesses! Go figure. Can't wait to see what group of super honest people mullins will be able to call! The only people that cow down to him either work for him, or have a reserve badge. Maybe the home owner of the meth lab, don't know about that one, maybe the owner of gus's, or did he advoid and jail time? There was that little matter of millions of dollars and millions of dollars of drugs in his house, don't know. I do know OPD, as usual had nothing to do with that bust.

When is the trial? This seems to be the question on this string. Pot luck seems to know all about the legal stance that mullins's lawyers are going to take, almost as if he were part of the legal team, but with all that knowledge, he was unable to post the date of the trial.
