Man Studying for Exam Shoots Barking Dog

Have you ever heard of going to your neighbor and asking them to quiet their dog? Oh wait, that is the logical thing to do.

If there's an issue with an excessively barking dog in the neighborhood, you can call the authorities, oh wait, that's also the logical thing to do.

Freaking dumbazz! There will be plenty of time for this guy to study in jail :o)

WTF!!! I too had to endure a barking dog some years back. Long story short, after contacting the proper authorities, it was found that the dog was tied to a tree by a short heavy chain with no food or water bowls in sight. I've been the proud ownwer of "Sparky" for 8 years now. He wasn't barking to be annoying, he was crying for help. BTW - owners appeared to be stoners and we moved away 9 mos. after the incident. Sparky is only barks when chasing a squirrel or wanting to chat it up with me.

What a thing to do. I hope he fails! They did not mention what happened to the dog though, hope he is OK.

as a dog owner can see both sides, it sends me NUTZ when a dog is barking non stop, [glad mine does not bark much ONLY when she really has too] but for some turd to go outside and shoot the dang thing is beyond the pale........ I think he will also get other charges like using a firearm in the city limits etc, and JUST what was he studying for his GED........

In jail huh...guess HE will be doing the "barking" now

Yep prolly a city_bred PITT or ROT ripped off childrens arms and ate baby robins. BAM ... one fewer bad dog. Shooter should get a medal, and sue the dog-owner for "mental distress".

the cops would not even show up,and dog owners do nothing to control their mutts.he did the right thing. he wont even see a day in jail,any normal person would understand i dont expect you too.

I'm glad there are still good people in the world. A happy dog should have little reason to bark. I have two and they bark less than any of the neighbor's dogs.

I had a neighbor whose dog would bark from dusk til midnight . After unsucessful attempts at resolving the matter with my neighbor and the police, I was left no alternative but to fall back on the ole saying "if you can not beat them, join them". I didnt want to own a dog. So I took my PA System, put a speaker in the window, and blasted that song of dog barking jingle bells every night.

Call animal control. He didn't do the right thing, how about if there were some kids screaming and yelling all day while he was studying, it's okay to go shoot them?

There are right ways to do things and then there are wrong ways, this idiot was in the wrong whether you want to admit it or not. The dog is HIS property, you can't go around destroying others property just because you feel the need.
