as a matter of fact there are some preety amazeing people who care for our loved ones.these girls work for barely minimum wage and put their hearts into it.they deserve respect and if they had people to work for who cared about them,like they do the people in that home,maybe they would be the best again!!!!!

If you have never worked a nursing ,you have no Idea of the hard work these people do.And at the same time it is one of the most rewarding jobs there is.It takes a very strong and caring person to do this job.There are a lot of people who sit there day after day with no one to visit them,these workers are all some people have.Aparently we still have people out there who have never visited a nursing home.Try sitting at home for just three days,not talking to anyone ,no visiters,just sitting in a small bedroom looking at four walls.We all if posible sould take at least time once a month to just visit ,just a wall through to speak and say hello to brighten someones day.One day it maybe us sitting there.

Just want to add that every time I've been there or talked to any of the staff when I see them somewhere, they always talk about how much they love their jobs and adore the patients. The nurses and aides took care of my aunt like she was their beloved aunt too. Edmonson county's blessed to have such compassionate, knowledgeable people taking care of our elders when we can't.

if we know these employees and know they are provideing good care then call carolyn let her know.call sunhealth let them know.alot of them are moms raising kids,they desperately deserve a raise.they also should be respected.i know alot of them put their self&families aside to care for those little people.

The nurseing home in Edmonson county is like the schools in Edmonson County. The people who work there ,(both professional and the aid's ,cooks,ect.) all live and work in a county that has a high ratio of churches per capita. They grew up being taught to respect older people and to belive in a higher power. This is the diffrence between a nursing home here and nursing homes else where. Kudo's to the staff at Ed County's nursing home!

to the one who started this forum, are you one of the people from the nursing home? Just curious cause your spelling of the word nursing would make one think so. Just saying, learn to spell before you call other people dumb.

Thank you to all who appreciate what we do. Alot of us are raising our families on small wages, and we do work very hard. From all of us at Edmonson Health and Rehabilitation THANK YOU! It is nice to know that there are people out there whom reconize the effort we put into making our residents happy.

I go and visit a friend their some times and and she tells me that she will push the nurse button and it takes them for ever to see what she needs.
I have been their and her push the buttion and watied a good 45 min so i said for get this ill just go get some one so went to the nearest desk and their set 5 or 6 nurces their just a talking and cutting up and i said can i get some one please and they said sure like they did not know the light was on.
I tell you what some of those nurses are the most stuck up b1tches and careless people i ever met in my days. And then i met some of the most sweetest caring people in their.
