How many Hats can Rose wear at one time

Before the last County election there was much to do about Howie Rose's position and all the monies he was spending on the expensive sunglasses etc. The residents and taxpayers of this County were not happy with the things that were going on regarding this position. Now it appears that our County Executive and County Commissioner Collier have determined that he needs another hat so they want to make him Fire Chief for Roane County over the Volunteer Fire Departments. We are truly surprised that there is not people that actually work in these fire departments and have helped to build the departments by doing the work, having fundraisers to help buy equipment and encouraging the residents to donate that are not going to be allowed to have a voice in who can be the chief. Our County Officials need to show these departments some respect and allow them to at least throw some names in the arena so as to have a part in the choosing of a Chief. Obviously, we the people of this County need to show some interest and not allow one or two people to make this decision. Should the position that Mr. Rose holds at this time does not create enough work for him as a full time hat wearer then maybe this County should cut his hours and his pay. If we need to give him another hat to fill his time card, then maybe we should cut pay and let him work 2 or 3 days per week. It appears that when we hired Mr. Woody to replace
Mr. Farmer, the voters were under the impression that we would only need one County Exe., but instead we have Mr. Jinks to run the show. What is the purpose of this? How much money does he make?
Is it true that Mr. Jinks wife was Woody's boss when he worked for the State. Does this pass the smell test? No!!!! Instead, we are paying two salarys-one for Woody and one for Jinks--on the same job.

Ball cap, cowboy hat, hard hat, visor, or motorcycle helmet, I really don't care. This county is corrupt period, not just Rose, Woody, and Jinx.

Mr Rose is also a canidate in the upcoming school board election.

Who is Mr. Jinx?

Mr. Jinks is a man hired that it was initially hired when Woody took office to oversee Rose's office.
Don't know what his job is except to pick up a paycheck. He also gets a pay check from TWRA. In our opinion he just added a new man to the todem pole that we did not need.

Did Our County Executive resign and turn over the reigns to Commissioner Collier--Seems like its a one man show with Collier doing what he wants to do so
whether its good for the County or not. Seems like he needs to let others have a voice in County Gov
instead of it being a one man show and doing things just to get votes.

People these days have nothing better to do then bitch!! I no Howie rose pearsonaly he is a great pearson. And yes as the name on the post means I work for him! He has helped the ambulance service get turned around before they went under! And the deal about the glasses was ordering numbers were mixed up those we're not ment to be bought! When they showed up at the office they were returned!! And the deal about Howie being the county fire chief is not gonna happen! So you people can put that in your lil box and throw it away! And another thing have you People thought about what it would be like to be in his position? Do you think you have more knowledge then him? Or do it any better? I think NOT!! As far as im concerned Howie Rose is a great pearson so you people need to find someone else to bitch about..

Obviously, Mr. Rose didn't choose any employee that could use spell check nor did they know how to us correct punctuation or use correct grammar. You sure know how to make a mess of the English lanaguage. You could possibly be an embarrassment to Mr. Rose and to Roane County.

What happens during an emergency? Rose is the emergency management director, he is the ambulance service director, and the fire services director. All he needs is to be police commissioner, and he could wear ALL the hats like grant lowe used to in oliver springs.
So, in an emergency, where you have mulitple people like the national incident management system says you have to, howies span of command is about 75 people. WHERE ELSE DOES THIS OCCUR???
And, what does jack jinks really do now? he was a knoxville cop, got a degree, worked for some private company, and now he is a consultant or something for roane county? Has anybosy else been hired since he came on? Or are him, howie, that other guy and whoever answers thephone in the office going to be it? Why is the EMA office duplicating all the equipment currently used by the rescue squad, or is howie gonna be in charge of that next? Why is howie on the swat team, shouldn't he be in the incident commanders tent? Too many questions, and no one wants to find the answers.

Sounds like y'all just jealous you can't do all that. Focus more on getting people off meth.
