Lost mother

Is there anyone or any place in the area that might have information relating to Altha Mae Marshall or her Nephew, Charles Abernethy?
Althea Mae was my birth mother. She married William G. Locke, Jr. of Oxford, Maine in Oct. of 1920.
Her mother's name was Georgia M Marshall.
I was adopted in 1931 after she and my father separated ( and divorced ?) in June of 1930. I have been hunting for her final resting place for years and only yesterday did I find what I believe is the right area of the U.S. to look. I don't have much time left, I'm 82 but I'd like to know that she is at rest with friend and / or family. I know that her Soul is in a better place and I can meet her someday.

what info brought you to the eastern shore? the marshall family name is prevalent in this area. any other information? you might want to write to Virginia Crockett Saxis Road, Saxis Va. She has been a saxis resident for 80 years and may be able to help you. The churches may have information as well. Best of Luck. Barbara
