If the driver did not see the kid crossing the street, why didnt the passenger? Where they both on their cell phones or on the computer or what? It is very sad that there would be 2 officers in that squad car and not one of them seen him crossing the street enough to slow down or stop the car. And as for jay walking, who in that town hasn't jay walked? A lot of the sidewalks in that town are not even good enough to walk on, so you have to walk on the street. And if you are in a wheelchair, I am not sure what you would do.
