yea, theres no problem. While emploies are on wellfare and live with 3+ roomates or thier parents, at least he just made 14 million dollars. I say good for him fer nothing really, probly only paid to keep a secret. Money talks and for that much money i wouldn't even tell a family member how bad the food is we are servering to america.

1. The food we're serving isn't bad.
2. If it was, it's not our fault people eat it.
3. They paid him that much money to run one of the biggest companies, if not the biggest company, in the world. He earned it.
4. If they're on welfare or living with enormous amounts of roommates that's their fault. Get another job or shut up and stop complaining.

Carole,
You DO know that the CEO of McDonald's did DO the work, right?
No one in that organization "hires in" to an executive position. They ALL have to work in and manage a restaurant.

I visited a McDonalds here in Brampton, Ontario Canada a couple of days ago. I requested fresh, hot chicken wraps. Wow, you should have been there. The manager was working the kitchen along with another employee, it was completely open concept. The same guy turned and shouted our food is always fresh, they just came up. I replied, I'm willing to wait 5-10 mins or however long it takes but if you serve me cold food it's going right back to you. THEN...SOME MINS LATER i GO TO THE COUNTER AND ORDER A DRINK AND i SEE THE SAME MGR PREPARING THE 6 WRAPS WE ORDERED FRESH! Upon recieving the freshly made wraps I commented to my friend, guess he got the message. After consuming the first wrap I felt like the garnishes were missing and decided to open the next one and guess what? It was pretty well plain except for 4 shredds of cheese and a little sauce that looked like it was spread on with wax paper. I went to the counter and demanded to see the manager.(3 other guests saw the wrap and all agreed that it was a complete rip off.) The guy comes to the counter, says yea, so what is it? I explained to him the lack of cheese etc., the guy goes bullistic! He shouts get out of my store, I'm going to call the police! I was completely taken off guard, I was in total shock. It doesn't end here, I demand my money back and he again shouts, out of my store. I take the tray and he pulls on it, to which I said I paid for this take you hands off! A tug of war erupted with me the winner and I turned and showed the wrap to a couple of patrons who just could not believe that 1) this was happening and 2) thought it was just absolutely a rip-off. Next thing I know this Manager comes up behind me and grabs the tray out of my hands, yelling again get out of my store. I said you are throwing a customer that has a complaint out of your store? I don't think so! He yells out, you called me a Bastard! I froze for a second and responded with, you are nothing but a liar, how dare you play that kind of game. There we children anywhere from 3 to 6 years old and this idiot yelled out that aqusation at least 3 times! I was discusted. I demanded my money back he threatened to call the police one more time and then threw my money on the tray. This guy still yelled and threatened to calol the police, refused to give me his name and McDonald's Head Office #, he thought that he had my copy of the reciept on my tray but what he didn't realize was that that reciept was for the 1 drink that I paid for after I paid for the 6 wraps and 1 drink earlier. I have lodged a full blown complaint with McDonald's Customer Relations in Toronto and I'll keep you posted on the outcome. In my opinion this guy should be FIRED and BANNED FROM WORKING IN ANY SERVICE RELATED INDUSTRY IN CANADA! I HAVE VISITED THE USA SINCE I WAS A CHILD AND I HAVE NEVER WITNESSED ANYTHING LIKE THIS IN MY ENTIRE LIFE! I am quite sure that this would never happen in the States! GOD BLESS AMERICA!

This is totally unaccepted. I know that I do work for an owner/operator but by god, we all work for the exact same company. It's not 'I work for this person, or I work for cooperation. It's I work for McDONALDS!!! I am embarassed by this. And I do live in the states. That action has embarassed the McDonald's name and should embarass any employee of McDonald's. I do personally apologize for this. And do strongly believe that manager should lose his job. McDonald's is all for 100% customer satisfaction. We strive to keep every customer we have. In BSM class, we learn that every customer costs us $60,000 a year on estimate. Do you realize how much money we are loosing out on? Again, I am embarassed that a McDonald's manager of all people would do this. I really hope that your next visit will be a more pleasant one.

When they spent over $1.8 billion on advertising in the U.S. what's $13.4 million . No wonder they can't ( I mean won't ) pay a decent wage . Raising minimum wage will be detrimental to the economy .

I would love to shut up and stop complaining but your crap company wont even let me through the damn door.

As for whats in the burgers, well we've all seen super size me. Feel good food that has addictive additives to get people hooked. The secret to what makes a big mac taste great, its not the re-processed ground worm meat or the white fluffy bun filled with additives, its the gherkins in the mayo!

Nice try. McDonald's prevents people from you like getting into the company and spreading false rumours and taking the store down with it. Stay at your homeless shelter and get an education.

It's not worm meat, see http://www.snopes.com/horrors/food/wormburg.a... .

It's not a bun filled with additives, it's a bun filled with the same ingredients used in all breads. See http://mcdonalds.ca/en/food/myth_busters.aspx and http://mcdonalds.ca/pdfs/IngredientFactsEN.pd... .
