Good grades? Just listen to most of the players in the NFL or NBA. You can't even understand them. What kind of grades do you think that they got without the school fixing them. I'm all for students being made to get good grades in order to participate in extra curricular activity but you can bet outstanding athletes are getting a free ride.

The school should not have to pay back the $70. She should have read the rules for the students to play sports and she could have save herself some time and money.
If her son's grades aren't good enough to play, then she should be more concerned about his grades then him playing football.

It's okay, all the ones with good enough grades will soon have multiple concussions. Then the playing field will really be level with regards to student excluded for bad grades at the outset.

If the shoe fits: sounds like you been around lots of top tier athletes just by watching TV from your couch. Let's also go out on a limb and say that you are referring to the African American Athlete... was that a stretch? You don't know anything about the grades athletes are getting cause if you did play any type of college sports you would realize how much they are required to do in the classroom to maintain eligibility. Are there some that violate the rules? absolutely, but that is the case with others who cheat not just athletes. You are the only one who sounds uneducated here. Holla!
