It AMAZES me how people now about Tykwans MOTHER!! Wow, were u there? He has other family, what about them?? How about his dad...where has Tykwan's dad been throughout all this...does his father know anything about the violence of gangs on the street and the death of young people

So if he was such a good boy then why did he stab someone and why did he have a gun and why was he not playing football anymore? Someone droped the ball in his family. So if he was loved so much who let him down? A good kid can go bad. He pointed a gun at a group of kids and pulled the triger. How good was he?

AJ Brown was in th Norwalk School system for the majority of his life, and he was no good from day one. He has a caring father, but this kid is evil. He has displayed devient behavior from fifth grade until the present. We are all lucky if he moves from Norwalk. He is trouble.

Gangs are a terrible thing in general. Basically 90% of the behavior of children/teens/adults come from their upbringing and environment. This is very evident in the mother's behavior. I honestly believe the self defender was scared for his life. Unfortunately he too has to live with this outcome as well.

At the end of the day, I pray that parents start spending more quality time with their children and stop allowing them to be turnkey kids. In addition, if parents are not providing avenues for their children to explore, either softball, hockey, soccer, karate, arts, ANYTHING, just letting them come home and play violent video games and no real adult supervision, these outcomes will be more than less in the years to come.

Stop blaming the police. They cannot babysit and raise our children. I guarantee you that young man and other gang members have been a disruption to the classrooms for many years and the parents turned their cheek to it all. At the end of the day, our tax dollars and being wasted on police instead of education and other programs that would truly help the children. If the police can eliminate the drugs, for starters, everything else will eventually fall into place.

Cops in Norwalk are like everywhere,you have a handful of racist white guys just waiting to pop someone on the street.The way they act and deal with the public its going to be a matter of time one of those cowboys shoots up the street.They are kids fresh out of school big mouths and no brains.Now you have your old timers the best cops in the world couldn't ask for any better.
