Police probe apparent murder-suicide in Norwalk

I would like to read a followup on the Aug. 28 murder/suicide in Norwalk, CA. There was never any information after the initial short article.

I would also like to see some follow-up story. This occurred on my street and I have been seeking out additional information since it happened, to no avail. Please give us more details as they become available. Thanks.

Well thats the name he gave me. Hello,I'm a close friend of the Young man who committed the murder and took his own life. Everything has still been under investigation. We are not exactly what triggered this murder-suicide. But from my point of view and everyone that has known him for years. We have never seen this side of him. He never used drugs or drink. Never got loud with anyone. Has always been a pleasent person to be around. I enjoyed the time I spent with him. All we can say is he "snapped". She triggered something to him for him to kill her. And as for him killing himself.... He didn't know what to do... I see everything as accident.... He didnt mean to kill her. He couldn't see himself in jail or being killed in jail for murder in the first degree. I just feel so bad because I missed his phone calls that morning... This will always be on my mind... and it has been since I found out the news. Sometimes you think that maybe if you would have just did things a lil different and it would have never happened.. Thats how I been feeling. But it's in gods hands...
I'm getting teary eyed. So I'm going to end this now....I'm sorry for the woman who lost her life and the lost of my dear friend....

I would like more information on this story. I knew the young man and I am very shocked to hear of this happening. My heart goes out to both familys.

Cash is gone mayne...his funeral was yesterday, don't nobody kno why he did it...he called a few people before he did it, and they don't even kno why...that's y'all follow up...ain't nothing else to kno..,if y'all really are that conserned go find her kids and his kids and look out for em...this comming from one of his bros, not let my bro die...

I've lived in norwalk all my life. I have seen things hapen here from the best to the very worst.
the tragic events that occured are just that tragic. we as a community need to be informed.
i have yet to hear anything on the news or radio,
the only reson i even know what happend is that the ambulance was stopped in front of my house.
i fallowed them and saw the scean. a fue months ago a cop shot some kid in the head in the parking lot of the stater bros. not a word on the news. we need to know

It's only obivious you didn't know him that well... Think About that for a second. If your trying to justify him murdering his wife with an excuse you are no better than him. For someone to take the life of someone especially when they have children is one sick person. Always in the end they show their true colors. Man! he had all you fooled. STOP making excuses for him and start praying for him, his wife and kids.

First off he was not married....and yes he do have children and she does also...drugs and drinking was not his thang.....I been around him long enough to kno what he do and don't do....no one is making up excuses. I believe "The Judge" & "I kno" are talking about 2 different murder/suicide taken place in Norwalk... The Judge is refering 2 the Oct.17th one on Tina st. because they were a married couple w 3/kids! Ernie & Toni Zazueta.. The other one (in Aug.) I have not heard about. But it's obviously not the same story.

We need to be worrying about the chaotic society we live in where things like this happen, not the people who lost their lives just trying to survive in it. Bottom line, they are all gone...tears were cried, caskets closed...lets move on and make this world a better place for their kids, our kids and the next generation. Peace, Love and No Gun Violence!

but fyi, he didnt drink or do any drugs...good people do bad things, bad people sometimes do good things...a persons actions doesnt dictate what kind of person they are. But he was an awesome, knowledgable, caring and funny man and father that will be forever missed...clearly, he did have some type of schizophernia I failed to pick up on.

And as for the person who supposedly thinks it was an accident, Its not!
Everyone has a choice, and he chose to make the ultimate selfish,unforgivable evil choice. I don't have one thing bad to say about Toni in all the years that I knew her. And I don't believe she would even give him a reason to kill her, because there never is a real reason to kill someone. There is Never a Good Reason to KILL, God will take care of this whole dilema......And Tonille will be right alongside him watching over loved ones....

UHHH YOU where obiously out of the loop, because E.Z WAS MARRIED. When I visted Tonille once she was so proud to show the childrens birth certificates and THERE MARRIAGE license was right with those papers....They were married!!! either you don't know that or Ern lied to your ass..........
As for his drinking , he did, we all do in a casual way.

Sorry to say but ur talking about a whole different case.Yes they did happen around the same time but in two totally different locations. Please read the comments and the dates than u would kno what this topix is about..we are talkin about 2 different families here.
