Madness. Again, another person whom did not read the Spanish version of the DMV drivers manual. It clearly says that you are supposed to flee to Mexico after a hit-n-run. Alex Copeland huh? Probably doesn't read Spanish.

He will get a chance now in jail and then prison to show just how really bad he is. If you are capable of running someone over with your car then you should be capable of fighting every idiot like you locked up behind bars. Lets see how tough this guy is now, without a car this time.

First off, I hope we get to hear the rest of this story, seems how I'm from Downey and very close to what happened. I don't want to make any judgments. It is a bad situation, though, indeed. And second, I can't believe anyone is slamming latinos on a post like this. As it's been said, the name itself is not hispanic (COPELAND) and the victim is now being reported as a hispanic - and no, I'm not hispanic. In fact, I'm white. And, if you're going to slam someone for their language "incompetence" as you are, at least know when to properly use the words "who" and "whom." Yes, if the story is what it looks like, it was certainly a stupid thing to do, but getting on here and saying equally stupid things doesn't make you any better. Hope justice is served.

Your friends at home are praying for you Cope. But also praying for the victim, and his next of kin. Sad situation from every conceivable angle.

I personally do not own" an isolated hill or mountain with steep or precipitous sides usually having a smaller summit area than a mesa," nor do I own a town in Montana. Guess your attempt at "butte" humor fell flat on YOUR keister!

Isn't a hit and run considered to be a traffic collision in which one or more parties does not stick around to identify themselves or render aid? And a traffic collision is an unintentional occurrence?

So if this was an intentional act, why is it referred to as a hit and run? Shouldn't it be referred to as a crime of murder, the vehicle being the weapon? It just seems like it minimize the crime when you call it a hit and run.

Oh, are you trying to impress us all with a quick copy/paste from an online dictionary? I was avoiding the over sensitive editing on this board you fat ARSE. Or shall I also use cullo? And by the way, with your twisted logic, re: the first comment, uh, Spanish is spoken or read only by the Spanish? Bunghole.

How can you keep your head up? You killed someone! Not only killed, but had no sympathy, you dragged the guy half a mile.
