Driver gets one year for fatal Pico Rivera collision

A Pomona man was sentenced Friday to one year in jail for causing a Jan. 26 crash that killed his two passengers and injured six people including him.

How can a judge think that 1 year in jail is punishment for killing 2 people? Pay restitution with what money? I'm pretty sure there is no amount of money that would fix what this POS did!

The justice system in our country is a joke, sad, and pathetic. My prayers to the families of the deceased.

Get real people, these were a couple of losers that were killed. Dude did us all a favor. Judge knew this and sentenced accordingly. Had it been anyone else, he would have hung.

OK but we could have put the 3rd loser in jail for a long long time.
That would have got 3 losers off the streets not just 2! Do the math.
