Sherman T. "Tim" Wapato Sherman T. "Tim" Wapato, a member of the Colville Confederated Tribes and advocate for tribal sovereignty, died at his home in Rapid City, S.D., of heart failure Sunday at age 73.

Tim Wapato was a wonderful human being and loved by all that knew him. Don and I met Tim in the early 70's when he came to work for the Colville Confederated Tribe. His kindness and friendship will always be remembered. God Bless and may he rest in peace BJ and Don
