George Pera did not die in disgrace. He had been sick for quite some time and it was very unfortunate that he died on his way home from work. We were friends of the Pera's and they are all good people. We also liked Jack and Josephine and hope they are doing well. We feel terrible about the loss of their restaurant.We spent many, many hours at Il Giardino when Elvis owned it and we go as far back as the 80's when it was La Grotta. Nothing stays the same.
