Route 412 repaving to begin in Hellertown

Full story: Easton Express-Times

Starting Monday?
I'd be willing to bet those mysterious crews which have been digging holes along Main Street for the last 6 months aren't done. Who will win, the pavers or the diggers?

I love that the story warns that we should be ready for delays on Rt.412... as if delays aren't a constant problem on 412 most of the time.

I can't believe how much more ridiculous Hellertown has become. Who was the "genius" who thought it would be a good idea to close so many roads at one time and not only that but waste everyone's gas trying to get around the closures why didn't you just close everything off except main st and as far as your workers they need a lesson in patience! we are suppose to have patience with them; but they can be rude. it is not right, and don't want to hear about the stuff they have to put up with maybe the town should do work this big at night like the state does since they have taken over the roads haven't been as bad as they were when the township was doing their mess on main st.what a messed up bunch of advisers!!!

I bet the UGI backhoe operators can't wait to dig into that fresh pavement on 412 between Water St. and "Neighbors". They've been digging that up, over and over, for more than 10 years. Wouldn't you think they could have replaced ALL the pipes there within a decade? Job security, I guess.
C'mon UGI... are you gonna let them paint the crosswalks before you can dig up the south end of town? You guys are slippin'.
