I am with you. The way Obama belittles and derides our intelligence agencies and military commanders, he is simply failing as commander in chief. However, I do understand his dilemma. His stint as a liberal community organizer is the closest experience he has in terms of leadership skills. I am not surprised he is struggling.

Wny give constitutional rights to foreign enemies who are at war with us? FDR did the right thing when he used military tribunals to try and execute Nazi sabetours who landed in Long Island and Florida from U-boats in WW 2. The 9/11 attacks were an act of war, not a crime like bank robbery. To try them blocks from Ground Zero is an absolutely stupid decision, and a slap in the face to the families of 9/11 victims as well as all Americans. Making this a criminal case at this point poses many potential legal problems. For instance, there are statute of limitations issues (it's been more than 8 years since 9/11), plus they weren't give Miranda warnings by the military (who aren't cops).

They already admitted their involvement, and are very proud of killing almost 3,000 innocent people. It's been more than 8 years since 9/11, and their guilt has already been established beyond any reasonable doubt. A trial would just be a travesty, and wouldn't accomplish anything except waste millions of taxpayer dollars. Remember that the U.S. tried the attackers who bombed the World Trade Center in 1993. Instead of serving as a deterent, their convictions only emboldened Bin Laden and Al Queda to mount an even deadlier attack, because they felt our response to the 1993 attacks wasn't serious.

They should just be executed, the sooner the better. Anyone who thinks otherwise is either extremely naive, or just plain stupid.
