Jobs are plentiful in York PA

The State of Pennsylvania has one of the highest rates of welfare recipients in the nation. Given the unemployment rate stands at an estimated 7.1 to 8.0 % in York county alone and Pennsylvania employs an estimated 1.3 % of the illegal aliens in the USA, it makes sense to deport the illegal aliens and make the welfare recipients take their jobs. The old adage,“If you don't work you don't eat,” comes into play here, it is the American way.
The American dream consist of hard work and sacrifice, it does not include free services at the expense of other hard working citizens. All Americans understand that unemployment exist, but we also understand that a citizen is responsible for their own security in the sense, that one must put forth effort to survive. All Americans understand that there are those less fortunate ones that absolutely must be taken care of.
Does drug and alcohol addiction or pure laziness fall into this category? I think not.
What we have here is the abuse of a system that was intended to help the elderly, physically and mentally handicapped, or a temporarily unemployed individual, it was not meant for able bodied Americans, to pass down as an inherited tendency or lifestyle.
Politicians keep talking about this issue, yet they never recommend a valid solution to the problem.
There are many solutions to this problem but, no one has the brass to institute reform for fear they may lose at the polls in the next round of voting.
What has America become? I remember a strong America, but she succumbed to corruption and greed and lost her strength and dignity. It is not to late to turn this potential catastrophe around.
We should be utilizing the violence and anger festering in our local prisons for road work, trash cleanup, demolition of old structures, bridge repair, and quarry work. We should put our welfare recipients to work babysitting, working in orchards, farms, mental health centers, and helping the elderly with household chores or they wont receive a check each month. Any one that is unemployed, collecting an unemployment check, should be included in this category as well.
The city of York is a mess, all of this prepaid labor could clean it up.
I have no doubt that there will be some who read this and proclaim some sort of human violation of rights and such, because some folks consider working a criminal offense, and I disagree.
I will close with the assumption that in order to be politically correct in the twisted 2012 American logic, one must swallow hard, shut thy mouth, and continue to take up the A*** like a man. I'm afraid that is not possible for me. I am too American to swallow rocks and I will not follow the piper to the edge of a cliff, thank you very much!
