Family Fun Center Owner Charged with Sex Assault l WPRI.com

I am not surprised to hear that Tom Marsella was finally charged with sexual assault. God has ear and eyes!

As an employee of the Family Fun Center I find these accusations blown out of proportion. The story was delivered on the news i find false and here are the errors: If the charge would be considered anything it would be harrasement not assault. Only two of the girls still worked there when bringing up the charges and then proceeded to contact employees from months and years previous. The other two girls aren't exactly reliable sources. The building hasn't even been open for more than 2-2 1/2 years so how has this effected all girls for periods of years? Another statement i found to be false was the girls accused him of feeling un-comfortable with back massages and nothing else. Sometimes the massages were even asked for. If the girls felt uncomfortable why didn't they say no forcefully or pull Tom aside and explain their feelings to him? The statements don't add up and its a shame to have had him arrested in front of customers and most so his children. His wife now struggles with five children and a business to run all on her own. The girls making the accusation blew it out of proportion and thought nothing of the consequences it would have on his life and his family.

I think that the public should remember the fact that Mr. Marsella is innocent until proven guilty. People are so quick to judge and the facts have yet to be proven in this case they are no more than accusations at this point and should not be taken as anymore than that ACCUSATIONS! Let the man have his day in court and be judged by his peers before condemning him in the media.

most of the girls never new it was happening to each other 6 + girls have quit and 2 boys because of his actions you cant say something is blown out when you weren't with them for dais on in of them crying for hours and hours no female crys for hours on end and make it all up ...it jus doesnt happen considering im best friends with 2 of the girls and im pretty sure theres no employees liveing in mass and working there

I stand behind Tom. He has been there for my family, I'll be there for his.

I find it very interesting that many of the comments on line are anonymous, everyone has an opinion but unless you are "related" to the issue thats all you have. Unless you have lived the moment, you have only an opinion. If you haven't, then you must let the system do the job we all expect it to do.

I too have an opinion, and many of the posts reflect it. but my opinion is still just that, my opinion, until the truth comes out.

One employee lives in MA but its not me and no employee lives in ohio either... the computer put that there. And though maybe a few of my opinions have changed so far, now i'm just watching the court do its thing and the case will play out according to the facts shown.

Based on his previous convictions, this guy is a perv/pedofile. Maybe we should just be thankful that his kids won't have to endure these disgusting behaviors in the future. Why would multiple girls come forward. That's a touchy subject not to mention embarrassing. Your dignity is removed when it happens.

Totally agreed with Papertiger's comment. Nobody would come forward for nothing. Mr. Marsella shouldn't be touching any of his employees! He knows the law!

I've been once there playing Laser tags, nice place. But those employees are saying is true, I wouldn't go there again. You are not suppose to touch or do massages to anybody you work with. This is a red flag! Wrong, wrong, wrong!

I don't know if Tom did it or not. But the only problem in Rhode Island when it comes to a sex crime, you ARE Guilty until proven innocent. Believe me I know!!!!!!!!
What I'll say Tom, if you did it I hope you get what you deserve. If you did not do it, I SURE HOPE you have a GOOD attorney!
