I would just like to ask who's idea it was to close Lorain Road eastbound traffic between Root and Bagley Rd. Did anyone in the planning Dept., or Street Dept., realize that they just tripled the response time for the Fire Station #2 to anyone on the SE side including the Ohio Turnpike and I-480. Wouldn't it have made more sense to allow one-way traffic east-bound, so that emergency service would not be affected? They could always detour coming back from a run, but why when the leave during the most crutical minutes! You also have a lot of construcion going on, in the eastern edge of Lorain Road near Lear Nagle and the Ohio Turnpike exit. What if there were an industrial accident/injury in this area. Response time would be enormous!
