North Port woman found guilty of child abuse

I heard the trial was a joke. I guess they didnt have any evidence other than a bunch of peoples opinions. Thats not justice.

I heard that the kids uncle is a cop. Also heard that the kids uncle who is a cop is trying to take the kid from the girl and thats why he pushed a conviction. Heard he's a crooked cop too, traffics drugs from Tampa or some shit. Guys name is Det. Ralph Ortiz. Lives in North Port, he arrested my neighbor once, said he's got short person syndrome...all cops do. I dont care what you say, cops in your family can get you out of trouble right, well they can get you in too.

I dont know about all of that, but i know the boys father is STILL with the girl! That says alot, seriously that alone makes me look twice at the stiuation.

Sorry but you can't get a total of 52 bruises on your body (especially a little body) plus 2 skull fractures from a toilet fall. The father of the kid was friends with a friend of mine but stole from him. He has always done drugs and can't keep a job or home for longer than 2 months. He's a loser, he knew what was going on.

But what i do know is that the man had 2 full time jobs, a 3 br 2 bath house, 2 cars, coached MY SON in little league, won 2 of his kids in a custody battle with his ex wife, and is currently going to mccc for a degree in journalism/mass communication...doesnt really sound like a loser to me...then again you prob got all your info from a friend who got it from a friend, oh wait! You already admitted that. Has anyone mentioned that it took the jury over an hour to come to a verdict, if it was so open shut, why over an hour? Has anyone mentioned that Krystal has won her motion for an appeal. Has anyone mentioned that in the year they investigated the only evidence they were able to compile was a doctors OPINION. Has anyone mentioned that their 5 year old daughter witnessed the whole thing but cant testify cause she is a minor. Did anyone mention that the only witness they had was the wife of the cop who investigated the thing. Did anyone mention that ralph ortiz was at the crime scene investigation, which is illegal. Did anyone mention that? Or are all you mother fu**ers passing opinion based on opinion? Yea. Thats how she got convicted. Opinion. Then again who can win a trial with a public defender and a victim related to 5 cops.

he DID work for Patriot plumbing, but Krystals father fired him and later re-hired him. and he doesnt work for him now.plus we all know how much he hates him anyway. Bulldogs is a cab company not a private contractor and he was fired from there before being rehired. wow a cab driver that will support his 5 kids or wait 6 he has a daughter that he never mentions that he LOST custody of!!!!! as for being the coach of ure son BS!! it was his dad and the det. his brother you slander that was the coach.That is listed in the bseball records because they have to fill out paperwork to coach. oh and randy did not. i know for a fact that he was asked to help the two. plus he was not ALWAYS there. as for the custody battle..you should know that there was NO battle. there are NO records in any county. the mother gave him the kids...she couldnt handle the kids, so i applaud him for taking the kids, but he screwed up sticking up for a women who almost killed his kid! plus now he has none of them. over an hour for a jury verdict..cmon if it was shorter, the complaint would be that they didnt take long enough. oh Krystal won an appeal. she won nothing, every criminal has the right to appeal in any case felony or misd. so good try on that one. appeals can take months to years to file, trial and win or lose. as for Det. Ortiz being there, it is my understanding from randy the one u defend that he called him, because he was scared and didnt know what to do, because he thought his kid was going to die! it is not illegal for family members to go onto scenes esp when called by fam members. so there is no opinion, just facts from public record on the case and randy himself. as for MCC cant tell ya, dont know. oh and moron tons of people win cases with Public defenders and yes the victim is related to cops, but so is his father the person you are defending. the question is how does a father walk away from ALL of his children for one women!! cause i do know that he doesnt live with any of them!!! hmmm

Wow. First off you people really need to find better things to do with yourselves. And i know one or your asses is related to me just based on the misconscued information. Okay, so lets see, really though where do i start??? Okay. First off my brother isnt a drug dealer or a crooked cop. He's just a cop who realllllly likes his job and saw a way to look like a hero and make his daddy the real cop proud who never gave him any more attention than a hello and good bye. If they didnt just look at krystal and pin everything they could on her, if they did what cops are paid to do and investigated the evidence and let IT take them to the offender, then, why, was krystal, never questioned. He had about 10 and understand the boy had a walking issue due to crooked feet that was bad enough to be diagnosed by a doctor to need braces. The kid fell down on his knees ass and back at least 20 times a day. As for the fracture. Neither me nor krystal Ever said arlo fell off a toilet. All we said is all we know. He was left in the bath room to wait for krystal to get back to put him in the bath. At that time arlo was pretty close to being totally potty trained. If had to of tried to either pee or poop cause he was found between the tub and the toilet. Maybe he stood on his stool and it came out from under him. Maybe he did make it up the toilet and did fall off. Maybe he climbed the tub to get in and fell between the tub and toilot. I dont know and we've never said cause WE DONT KNOW. A tile floor. A steel tub. and a ceramic toilet all could cause a fracture. I think john travalta just learned that didnt he? Alot of things they all say we said, we never did. I wish some one would just ask me. Thats the crazy thing about all this maddness over the last 2 years. No one has tried to ask me and krystal. Not even the cops. And

As far as me leaving Krystal. So long as i have no evidence that she ever touched my son i will stick by her. People keep telling me that they'd do this or they'd do that, but you have no idea what your talking about. I am a man. I am the head of my house hold. My children and wife turn to me to protect them and fight for them. I stood there in perfect thought with out love or any other emotion to cloud my judgement. My children were all with family and safe, my wife however was being wrongfully accused of a crime i know for a fact she didnt commit. My wife was having her children ripped from her, her name destroyed on the tv and every newspaper in 3 counties, my wife was being attacted by a totally unorginized DCF, my wife was alone and petrified that she'd not only do up to 3 decades in prison but that she'd never see her children again. To me it was never a decision at all, my children are safe, my wife is not. Had i been supplied with even 1 peice of evidence that remotly suggested abuse i the situation would of been different. They show me pictures of bruises, but i already knew they were there cause i watched him get them. They told me she treated arlo different, well i know she didnt cause she was the one who said to try to get him in the first place and she was the one who put up over 200 bucks to throw him a 2 yr old birthday party at the Lowry park zoo, so i knew that was bs. They told me she had to use a blunt object, yet no object was found and as i plumber i am well aware that a 200 pound steel tub, a tile floor, or a 70 pound ceramic toilet could fracture anyones skull let alone a 2 yr old.

They told me that her story changed, well i know for a fact it didnt cause i asked her at the scene what happened and later asked my 4 year old daughter who witnessed the whole thing and both stories matched perfectly even though i questioned them at 2 different times 2 different locations and before anyone could. Then they started to just make shit up, saying that i was questioned by police and said he fell out of his high chair, well i knew that was bs cause i know i never spoke and have yet to speak to any police and the high chair thing is ridiculas, WE DONT OWN ONE! Then they tell me that my brother the detective has had concerns for months, well detective if your so concerned about your nephew why didnt you ever do anything about it? Every time they hand me what they are saying is incriminating evidence against my wife i can honestly say that i personally can prove it to be incorrect. And its not love or confussion or blindness, its truth. Let me have 1 peice of real evidence that shows my wife harmed my child and watch my song change. But its been almost 1 1/2 years and all theyve givin me are pictures of bruises that i already watched my son born with leg problems that caused him to fall alllll thhhheee tiiimmmeee get, and a lady named dr. sally smith who apparently is a specialist and says it can only be child abuse. Let me tell you about sally smith. sally smith is a doctor whos only job on earth is to look at kids and decide if its abuse or not. Sally smith has had 428 cases come before her desk in 2008. 428 kids to decide abuse or not abuse. Well out of 428 know how many she DIDNT find to be abuse? 6. Yes. 6. out of almost 500 fing kids this lady looked at only 6 were found to not be child abuse. So out of 428 children with broken bones, bloody noses, a few bruises, taken to tampa regional, only 6 were not caused by abuse. Damn sounds like we've got a SERIOUS child abuse problem in South West Florida! Or, a dr who really likes her job saving kids and at this point is liking it a little to much. I find it hard to believe that out of 428 hurt kids 422 of them had abusive parents. Seriously come on.
So before you judge me and ask how can i stay with this woman after she has been accused of harming my son and even been convicted, understand this, your are not me and you dont know krystal. Maybe its easy for you to walk away from your wife. Maybe when you see your wife, the woman you love, the woman you shared dreams, shared secrets, shared pregnancys, shared births and deaths, maybe when you see that woman who made you feel like a man, like a father, got you up for work, cooked you meals, cleaned your house, worked 50 hours a week so the family can go on vacations and have nice things, maybe when youre faced with the choice, it will be easy for you. When you see your wife Standing there with police officers that you know to be crooked harrassing her, when you see your wife dodging snap shots while SNN news parks a van on your front lawn, when you see your wife collapes to her knees because they took your children, and another, and another, and another, when you see your wife bear a child and 4 days later have to hold that woman while she weeps from her soul because a stranger just came in and stole your 4 day old daughter, when the entire world calls your wife a Monster and you know with every ounce of your heart and soul that it Can not be true, we will see what you decide. Personally, i went to my wife. And faught by her side for over a year and still do. No one on earth can say they stood by her and faught, but i can, her husband, and thats how it should be. I feel sorry for your wives and husbands, i suppose in good times and bad has guidlines though, then again, maybe i'm just old fashioned.

Oh and it is with out a doubt illegal for a police officer to respond to a call when the victum or perp is a family member. No matter what state your in, its federal law. A father cant arrest his son, a brother cant investigate his cousins crime. No relation what so ever. But my brother, Det. Ortiz was there for the CSI investigation, her questioning at nppd, and at the dependency court hearing when they put her in cuffs and officially charged her. 20 Minutes after arlo fell i was standing in my dining room, not 30 feet away from the bathroom in question and my brother turned to me and said "That bitch is going to prison". He hadnt spoke to krystal, hadnt spoke to me, hadnt spoke to angell the only witness, hadnt spoke to any other cops, hadnt looked at the scene, hadnt even asked what happened, but with one step into the house he had already proclaimed her guilt and punishment. Dont tell me they didnt pin her off the bat, i was there.

There is a witness. Angell saw the whole damn thing. Kid was there all day and waiting to go next into the bathroom to take a bath. Did the cops question angell? Yes. They said well this girl is 4, she is intellegent enough to speak both english and spanish fluently, lets ask her if she saw anything.....She was asked if arlo got into trouble today. She said no. Did arlo get spanked today. She said no. What happened right before the nice cops came? Her story was identical to krystals. Well, the cops didnt get what they wanted out of angell, so her testimony was thrown out because of her age. but trust, if that kid would of said anything incriminating, her age wouldnt of been an issue. But since the only witness only had good things to say, she's to young.

They said she called me before she called 911. I know for a fact that is bullshit. When she called she was screeming and crying, i couldnt understand a word she was saying except arlo is hurt and seizure. Realizing this she passed the phone to a cop who was standing with her in my kitchen. So unless the cops showed up before she called them, she called them first.

I was physically abused as a child and still have emotional scars from it and have more than forgiven my mother, as I realize she was under a great deal of stress and had no supports. But, what's worse than all the abuse I endured as a small child was that when I went to put my disabled child in our local public school for Kindergarten in Shawnee Mission, Kansas, the principal did not want disabled kids in her school and made false reports to Social and Rhabilitaive Services saying that I abused my child (so I would have him taken away and placed in another school other than hers). It was all fabricated--I mean some pretty cruel and outrageous lies. My son was actually probably OVER protected if anything and from a well priveleged family that would and did do any and every thing for his happiness. My husband is an M.D. and of Arab decent and they assumed he was a Muslim (he is a christian--which should make no difference either way), but the staff at the school and the lawyer for SRS were Jewish and hateful racists. I was forced to take classes (to learn to be a better parent) with admitted child abusers that had sodomized there own children and one gal said she broke her 1 month old baby'sarm intentionally. There are people that abuse their power in these situations! So...needless to say, I have no faith in my government and see how people might believe this woman is innocent. I question everything I see on the news or read in the papers. I'd rather take a beating twice a day than to be wrongfully accused of abusing my precious disabled little 5 year old boy. It nearly destroyed my life. He is now 18 and knows what all happened and wants to seek revenge for what they did to our family, but I tell him to remian peaceful. I believe in Karma, I guess.

Perhaps....unless you knew in your heart WHO your wife is and what she IS and ISN"T capable of. And... if you had been beaten down and mistreated by cops and other authorities all your life, simply because you were a minority and somewhat poverty stricken. Things are the way they are...because we do them every day...and they will continue to stay that way--unfortunatley!
