Really? We are really going to condem a man for this? What one of us hasn't allowed someone to do something for us? It did say he went back to the checkpoint, so in my mind this shows he didn't ask to be given any special compensation, he just followed the guy who brought him there. Get a grip people, and grow up!

National security has gone too far. Here is a person who in his everyday job protects and defends his city from crime. And because someone at the airport recoginzed him and let him pass through security there is a cause for alarm.
It happened to me as well coming back from Iraq, there were 200 of us soldiers that were in US Army uniforms, and had to go through security just like everyone else. We had to take off our boots and all. It was a bit embarrassing when people started to take pictures of us.
If a person who holds a high position, and he or she receives special treatment, GOOD FOR THEM, they deserve it.
