~~!~~ The first hour and a half of Fresno Bee reader comments are as follows; albert_411 wrote on November, 13 2:38 PM: Okay, so now tell me something I didn't already know. Or better yet, humor me and tell me how he's gonna get away with it AGAIN! honestg wrote on November, 13 2:51 PM: No worry DADDY will take care of it! smrtreader wrote on November, 13 3:26 PM: OH lets see what his DADAs excuse is this time for his boy!!!!!!!!!! Talullah wrote on November, 13 3:34 PM: I'm sure it'll be the SOS: "There's just been a big misunderstanding. People are always out to get me and if they can't get me then they go after my family", blah blah blah...we've heard it all haven't we? Sorry, but THIS mexican isn't buying into the overused excuses and rationalizations...that's what we're expected to do, you know. And if you don't, you're a brown-on-brown racist. Give it a rest, papa. Your boy's no good and he's hoping, once again, that you'll pull some strings. djy2ray wrote on November, 13 3:40 PM: It's not a surprise...what's a surprise is how long it took for this to finally happen. He's been selling it for years and everyone in OC knew it, but were afraid to say anything. That whole family is involved in some sort of illegal activity or another. beachnshop wrote on November, 13 3:45 PM: How embarrassing. Daddy, i think it's time you quit your post of Mayor. I'm sure you lost everyone's respect a long time ago anyway. Try your hand at being a real dad, since you did a crappy job in the first place. ~~~ Remember, Lopez the mayor costs the taxpayers between $50,000 and $55,000 per year on "day job" (where he does not need to go work - except where, when, and how he chooses) at the Fresno County Economics Opportunities Commission ... how many more Lopez's does Palomino have on the his 1600+ person payroll at EOC? ~~!~~

Message sent to Paul Rodriguez and posted on his message boards for ALL to see! Mr. Rodriguez! Many bloggers are wanting your opinion regarding the Nov. 4th raid by Sheriff's Deputies on a home reportedly owned by you! A home occupied by Victor Lopez Jr. who, after a two month undercover investigation, was arrested and charged with dealing methamphetamine out of? He also faces prosecution for identity theft and possession of stolen property, most of which belonged to the city of Orange Cove, and was found in or around the home. Do you wish to comment? Will you now distance yourself from Mayor Victor Lopez and the controversy that constantly surrounds him and his family? Are you aware that the Mayor made a public statement claiming "they caught him with three pills" which we now know was an outright lie!

Here's an article from another newspaper!Apparently people are questioning this in relation to Lopez Jr. and are insinuating that he snitched. Could be considering this occurred within a week after Lopez was said to have been cooperating with authorities. Some of the suspects are from Orange Cove. Guess we'll know if he gets a slap on the wrist! Already his supporters are posting retarded comments...... Fact is, if Jr. did rat out his homies, he'd be much safer behind bars than strolling the streets freely. In any case, I wouldn't want to wear those shoes. Too bad for the wife and kids, nobody should have to be forced to live in fear of the law and the justice system. Unfortunately, folks drawn to illegal gain drag their families into it as well, one way or another. With Mayor Victor running Orange Cove for all these years, the 3 sons of Victor could have been extremely successful in business or public service if they had chosen to do what is right, received good educations, and pursued honest gain. Too late for Jr. Hopefully David and Carlos will actually learn a lesson from this and become the best they can be, to try and salvage something of the family name. Daddy and Jr. sure did mess it up.

I agree! If he did snitch, as some are saying, then it's going to difficult for him no matter the outcome. You have to feel for his wife..and if he has any..his children as well. They too will be affected by this guy's selfishness. What a shame. We don't get many opportunities in life and it seems like this guy has had more than his share of chances. He's a lost cause considering there's another post where a lady is telling him to "back off her sons". Apparently his bullying isn't limited to elderly gentleman. Some people just don't get it. Oh but he will when those cell doors close behind him.
