This tragic accident is transforming the ways students of North Haven High are viewing their lives. Aroung the school there are banners where students can write notes to Nicole so as to remember her death and to under stand the significance of the situation. Her passing brings pain to even those who never knew her. In a mere 3 weeks Nicole would have graduated and would have been on to bigger and better things. However, the priviledge that most teens would "die" for killed this young woman: driving. Though she will always be remembered Nicole will never walk among us again. All we can do is remember as the great girl that she was. Most important we must see how life is not to be taken for granted, because we are not invincible, and that those who don't die are left with the pain for those who do die.

My condolences to the family of the young girl who passed away. As for the boy/driver, this is going to be a very tragic thing to live with for the rest of his life-god bless him!

All for speed. Life is so much more important. I feel sorry for family.

Nicole,
The school hall ways were silent today. That NEVER happens. I didn't know you, and I don't know your family... But I do know that everyone was crying because they can no longer see your smile. Rest In Peace. North Haven High School loves and misses you.

Our Prayers go out to the family. It is a very hard time for the students of North Haven High School but maybe some will look at this tragic event as an unfortunate learning experience and think about what they do and the consequences of there decisions. RIP NICOLE

Love is not a second,
Nor a minute,
Nor an Hour,
Love is always...

As a parent, I am really saddened.
As a parent, please don't let another mother or
father have to bury their child under unfortunate
circumstances.

Don't forget how much we love you and only remind you to be careful and safe ALL THE TIME !!!!!

I have had the privledge of knowing Nicole since she was a toddler. She was thought of so highly, taken care of so well, and nurtured as we each should have been as children and as a beautiful young lady. Pray for strength to assist her family and loved ones cope. Whatever form of praying you do. Bless them with the strength they need. Let her energy and her strength carry them through this painful time. I love you, beautiful little lady. Your Auntie Reggie (second Mom) and Uncle Mombo ache for you and will always love you. Your Mama Mary-Ellen will forever feel your prescence.

Its sad and heart breaking...even people who didnt know Nicole..feel the pain. Some of us have our own children, some don't and some are children themselves. Its makes us think about how quick a life can be taken...and hopefully makes us realize that life can be way to short...embrace someone today...especially someone who wouldnt expect it to come from you..

God bless Nicole's family.

no disrespect, but was a high schooler doing out on school night at 2am. where were the parents? most likely drinking and driving again... mock situations are not enough... the laws must get stiffer. RIP Nicole...

So sorry for the family. It's gotta be the worst thing ever to happen to a parent.
As for the driver, of course, here's another "kid" driving illegally -- with a suspended license. I don't understand what's wrong with these people. And where are his parents/guardians who allow this?

She is no different than the many teenage girls that are influenced by the B.S. of some guys. Many girls today seek guys with issues. The good guys are not exciting enough because perhaps they don't deal with risky behavior. The driver (22 Y/O M) had an arrest record while Nicole was a very repected, beautiful girl with a life ahead. Go figure !!!!
