New York seeking $11.6 billion in stimulus money to develop empire corridor

ALBANY, N.Y. - Governor David Paterson announced that the New York State Department of Transportation has applied for $11.6 billion in American Recovery and Reinvestment Act funding to improve high-speed rail service along the Empire Corridor between New York City and Niagara Falls.
