I wonder if Mr.Graham loves illegal people from other countries, too? Mr. Graham you have my vote! Some Americans have never been poor, hungry, uneducated and illiterate and have not known the meaning of absolutly no opportunity.

OBB! love your idea!

I wonder what makes them decide who is going to pay more with what vehicles. Is it below 24,20, 15. How are they going to manage it at the pumps how much you pay. Does sound to me like it is something that would be done. Not.

Now I am not saying it's wise to drive a gas guzzler.. I would think that if every drove a car that got 30 plus mpg or motorcycles and cut down on consumption there would be less fuel consumed. You could put two cars on the road per one SUV.

The guzzlers are going to pay the price. There won't be no value in the resale of there vehicles. I wonder if those hummers are sitting on MCElveens lots.

I choose to drive the gas guzzling SUV for SAFETY reasons. Let your little hybrid gas sipping mini car hit mine in the rear and see who's children walk away unharmed from the accident. And, yes, I speak from experience. I've had an Isuzu run into the back of my vehicle and the Isuzu was totaled. My gas guzzling SUV sustained minor bumper damage. So, yes, I will gladly pay the higher prices in order to drive a safer vehicle. My choice - but, that aside, the price of gas is simply what it is - the price of gas. It makes no difference if you are buying gas for your lawn mower, your scooter, your sipping hybrid or the gas guzzling SUV - the bottom line is China, Korea and Japan are the biggest demanders for gas. The oil producing nations sell gas world wide. It's not just US consumers that are paying the higher gas prices and, certainly all blame cannot be placed on those of us that choose to drive (and pay the costs for our choice) a SUV.
I agree with you. SUV's are safer, two months ago I was in a car wreck, I had a Saturn, the other lady who hit me head on was driving a SUV. Needless to say my car was completely totalled, her SUV only sustained minor damage, and she was able to drive away with no injuries. I had to be taken to the ER, with bruises, cuts and burns, not to mention physical therapy. I wish I had an SUV at that time

What has God (with a capital "G") got to do with my statement? You can't even spell. What is so stupid about technology? Auto manufacturers could install a device or apply a barcode to every vehicle that could rate every car either a "guzzler" or a "sipper". When you pull pull up to the gas pump, the pump could "read" your car and charge you the appropriate price for the gas you pump. Why should those of us with a smaller motor support the gas guzzling demands of those with V8's and SUV's? I'll bet you didn't know that when Henry Ford introduced the combustion engine that it was designed to run on ethanol fuel NOT gasoline.
By the way, you spell "STUPIT" S-T-U-P-I-D. You refer to yourself as a little, lower case "i" because you are a little, small-minded person and THAT is the truth.
so i didn't run spell checker big deal if all you can say is something about spelling then you really don't have anything to say

This vehicle is expected to hit the U.S. in 2010. I am on the waiting list and have reserved this vehicle. I am conserving and will tough out the fuel prices until my new vehicle is delivered.

Do you really think fuel prices are based on supply and demand? The price of oil has tripled in the last couple of years. Gas prices have doubled in a year. Do you think the demand has doubled, or tripled? We're using less gas than a year ago becuase a lot of people can't really afford to buy as much. The weak dollar has driven up the price of imports. Stupid people are preventing us from drilling in a frozen hell hole, or off shore. We haven't built a new refinery in 30 years, and many people are too dumb to push for nuke power. Nuclear power isn't going to run your car, but it would cut down or eliminate oil used for heating.
But no, I have a better idea. Chargea higher price for the lower middle class guy driving the 20 year old truck to work becuase he can't afford an effeminate $25k hybrid. Your a genius....No I take that back, your a genius with a little gay car.

Sorry, they wrong quote came up. I was referring to this:

Quote: The price of gas should be based on the fuel economy of the vehicle needing gas. If your vehicle is considered to be a gas guzzler then you need to continue to pay the "guzzle" price. If your vehicle is fuel-sipping efficient, you should only be charged a "sipping" fuel price. Why should I have to pay the higher supply price that your SUV is demanding.
