Does anyone want to start a clean-up program?

Hello, a concerned citizen here.... Does anyone here in Monongaheala want to start a trash clean-up program here? I know that at least one area that needs cleaned up is the aquatorium. Lots of trash here. Let me know. If city council doesn't want to do anything...maybe the citizens can.

I think "daryls wife" you need to stop causing trouble on other links on this site.
I have been reading and it seems you are spreading lies and calling people names here. You might want to watch yourself.
Don't be surprised if you are not contacted by an attorney for some of the things you have said here.
As you are also "taxpapyer" on this site and a few other names, too.
Funny that you call yourself "taxppayer" when you and your husband who is on council, don't pay your taxes.

I know the MARC people used to do that, too. You might want to contact them for help.

I think it is a great idea, but I think that if you receive government subsidizing you should be the one doing this. In other words if the government is paying for food and shelter etc. then you should have to work to receive it. Say a person received $800.00 in Food stamps a month, then that person should earn it by local earnings like cutting grass , cleaning up area town etc. They should work for their "earnings" of food stamps , heating, or any other subsidizing. Unfortunately it doesn't work like this and most welfare participates do not work at all.

I agree. Having a bad financial situation is one thing but when you're healthy and able to work and you simply elect not to do so that is wrong plain and simple.

There needs to be an accountability factor. Receiving financial help while sitting around being lazy doing nothing should not be permitted.
