Wildcat Football

All these negative remarks are getting out of hand and are hurting a lot of people who were not involved in what happened to me and my coaches. I know that Dave Newman was behind what happened. He stated to me one day after practice that he got rid of better people than me and he would get rid of me too. I received a phone call and was told that a special meeting was being held the next night stating that some parents had a problem with mitey mite coaches. And was asked to attend the meeting and to get in touch with my coaches Dan M. and Tony B.. Dan, Tony and myself were at this meeting. None of the parents there were mitey mite parents. They made false statements about our coaching techniques. And we were let go. Some of the people who made statements I considered my friends and felt that they stabbed me in the back. It has taken me awhile to get over what happened. I don't feel that Dan or Tony should be punished because someone had a problem with me. I will miss coaching a great deal I loved the sport and loved working with the kids. When I see some of the kids that I have coached before they never fail to let me know how much they enjoyed playing for me. Please put an end to this now. I'm sorry that someone felt it necessary to stoop so low as to make the remarks that they did against Todd. Todd has been living with us for some time and has never been a problem. Our grandkids just love him. I have a great deal of respect for him. And am very proud to have him in our life.

what is your name sosad, what is your name blah blah blah....look back thru this entire blog and see how many false accusations all of you made about the officers and coaches...from stealing money to criminal activities....and now when someone does the same to one of you it is horriffic...it is terrible....tit for tat people make accusations falsely and the same can be done in return and everyone who reads it will wonder...doesn't matter if it is true or not...didn't matter when all of you were making accusations either...doesn't feel good does it.As
for Todd...don't really know the goy he was just the most vocal and only one with his name out there unlike the rest of you...and has he done anything wrong...again don't know...but it is the same garbage that you all have been spewing for weeks about others without a shread of proof. Mr Bove is correct in alot of what he said, but the timeline is off and he doesn't tell the whole story. I was there that night that Mr.Newmanwas leaving the field after coaching. Mr Bove who had not been coaching this year had been going around the field with by-laws in his hand undermining Mr. Newman. I heard this with my own ears as he spoke to someone near me. Mr Newman was walking to his car when Mr. Bove yelled at him to stop he wanted to talk, and Mr. Newman said leave me alone Tony I just want to leave. He continued to his car with Mr. Bove following and calling hm chicke and as Mr. Newman was getting in his car Mr Bove told him if he didn't get out and talk to him he wasn't a man at all. Mr. Newman then got out of his car and asked Mr. Bove why he was going around the field talking about him when he had done nothing ut support Mr. Bove thru all his problems with Bj. Mr bove stated that he wasn't eligible to take his place and that Dan had tenure. Mr Newman said he had far more years and they started arguing....and yes then Mr Newman made the statement Mr.Bove attributed to him...in the heat of an argument...what Mr. Bove fails to mention is that he apologized to Mr. Newman and Mr Newman Apologized in return and it was weeks before the special meeting was called. Mr. Bove is again correct when he states that no current mitey mite parents were the ones who complained it was PARENTS OF THE PLAYERS MOVING UP WHO WATCHED FROM THE BLEACHES AND COMPARED THE COCHING BEING GIVEN TO THEIR KIDS AS OPPOSED TO WHAT WAS BEINGDONE ON THE FIELD WITH THE MITEY MITES AND THEY MADE THE COMPLAINTS. The special meeting was called in late October after season had ended not the next night. Same information put into context, just to be fair.

All this is going to do is divide people and the children will see and hear and it WILL directly affect them. And isn't this supposed to be for the children? Teams will be divided and that's not going to win anyone a game. The tension can be cut with a knife on this...please put the children first and stop all this petty crap.

Although I do not feel that the way that Mr. Bove was treated by the officers and their friends was fair, I personally have never been quiet or outspoken because of Mr. Bove. This being said, I also think that the explanations of what happened to him (on this forum) from those defending their behavior is far from correct. Maybe politically correct but far from the actual truth.

My main concern is that an external audit be performed for the past four years with an actual comparison of receipts and cancelled checks.

My second concern is that the behavior of the officers be reviewed and compared to the by-laws. There has definately been some questionable behavior involving the sunshine law, documentation of minutes, and the voting process regarding officers and coaches is definately problematic. The violators of these processes need to be removed from their positions immediately. I personally would love to see a website with the audio recordings of the meetings from start to finish available!

My final concern is that criminal background checks be performed on all coaches and officers.

I have seen many comments regarding sour grapes and poor parenting and statements of tit for tat. I have seen many comments regarding the effect this forum may have on the children. Let's keep one thing very clear.... to NOT request an audit, to not question by-law compliance, and to not review the criminal backgrounds of the coaches and officers WOULD MAKE ME A BAD PARENT. To dismiss my concerns for these issues by saying I am just exhibiting tit for tat or sour grapes is merely an attempt to avoid these issues that I raise. In response to the concerns of how this will affect the children, they are my number one concern. This is ALL about them and not about Mr. Bove or any other coach or officer that was dismissed unfairly. The children in this organization deserve to have it run honestly and not by people that are deceptive and manipulative!

anyone know who wildcats played last week and how the teams did

They had a scrimmage against Southmoreland, League mandated that first half play was starters and entire second half of play only substitutes could play no starters. All in all each team looked pretty good, some areas need work but it is still early, first game is this Saturday away at Brownsville.

Tony you were by far the GREATEST coach ever, and I appreciated every day you were there. You cared for these kids as NO other. There were a few others Mona and some I can't recall their names, that did the league good. You were there for the KIDS not the parents or their clubs as some made it. I APPLAUD you TONY.

grow up people,youth sports are for the kids.stop worrying about everyone else and the rumors of bad reputations.I for one am glad there are talented adults willing to give up there free time to coach my kids.mr todd cameron coaches my daughters soccer team and i can say that he is terrific with the kids.
Mr.Bove,I was sorry to hear about what happened to you with that screwed up football organization. You volunteered years of your life,just to be stabbed in the back by some "cliquey" newcomers. hold your head up!
