Listen up, I am an old guy and what you have to realize is that this is about old people being proud that they have lived and can still have fun. These ladies are proud of what they have done in their life, in their communities,& for their families. You will all be old some day and hope you can still have fun like these ladies did.

What is was suppose to do and succeeded greatly was raise money for the Mon City Historical Society. The initial hope was to sell 500 calendars at $10.00 a piece thus raising $5,000.00. They ended up selling nearly 3,000 calendars. 29 different countries purchased calendars. They tripled what they had hoped to earn and gained some great free press and 15 minutes of fame to boot. They stepped up when Mon City's Chamber of Commerence turned a blind eye. George, your post is 100% on the mark. Unless one dies prematurly everyne gets old. I hope if and when I when I get up in age I still have the desire to get involved and exhibit a positive fun side like these ladies did. It's amazing how so many people up in age become bitter and grouchy. Bravo Ladies.

Have any of you folks seen the calendar? The ladies have very tastful poses; this is the 2nd or 2rd year for the calendar; so oviouslly it isn't too distastfull, you folks need to see before you start critizing them.

I know or have met many of these ladies, and they are very nice, sophisticated ladies in every sense of the word. They are also moral. No body parts were exposed, and they were not nude during the photo shoot. They did it for fun and for a good cause. I think it was a cute idea.(After all, Why should some less moral younger women, who think it's OK to expose themselves to the public (and show body parts) get all the attention? This is an opinion and I'm entitled to it. LOL!)
By the way, When I tried to purchase a calendar last year, they were sold out at every place I went to. Does anyone know where I can get one? Even though the year is almost over, it would be a keepsake.
