If you play guitar, you almost have to learn how to play Walk, Don't Run. It's a great song to practice. RIP Bob.

True rock pioneers, The Ventures made instrumentals cool and yes, many a kid pick up a guitar. The realization that you could rock out without a vocalist was empowering and instrumental (sorry) in the dawn of the 60's garage rock movement. Rest in Peace, Bob. Long live The Ventures!

R.I.P. Bob. Thank you for some of the greatest music to come out of the 1960's. At least you finally got inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Should have happened a long time ago.

Even though "Walk, Don't Run" was their biggest hit, I'm always in awe when I listen to their versions of songs like "Stranger on the Shore" or "Sleepwalk" (the Santo and Johnny song).
