There are plenty of posters on both sides of each tread that I choose not to involve myself with because I am usually not willing to play their ugly game. You apparently are smart enough to stay out of their mud if you make that choice. Well let me start by start by thanking you for the complement. The only thing I will say is I am human and I know that I am not perfect. That's why I need a Saviour! But I will say you are right and I will try to humble myself more and not get into a hateing match with others over mine or their beliefs. I thank you for bringing it to my attention as I know that professing to be a Christian, I automatically come under strict scrutiny. It shouldn't be this way but Jesus said it would be. He said if they hate Me they will hate you! And I see he is right.

Justfacts99 wrote: <quoted text> One could very easily replace the word 'liberal' with 'religious right' in your post and it would be a much closer fit. And the irony is the Christian who is spewing hate on the gays is same one that is striving to make it to their heaven. Read back through the posts in these thread alone to see just how disrespectful a anti-gay poster can be in the name of their Lord. I'm a Christian and I have to agree with you. Some folks do operate on the extreme fringes, and that includes the right. Of course we manage to find some part of our sides position to rationalize and agree with even if it is a bit extreme. The gay issue is a prime example. Some folks, including myself, simply don't get how a human can confuse the obvious intent in the engineering of man and woman. Many find it unnatural and a perversion. Their perspective is every bit as valid as those who contend that it is natural, but when political correctness inserts itself into the equation, those who oppose it are evil and can not be tolerated.

You are forgetting that only YOUR side wants to make the other side second class citizens for having an equally valid perspective. That's the problem with all of this. Have whatever conversations with your invisible friend you please, I don't care. It's when you seek to oppress the basic human freedoms and rights of my fellow Americans that is evil and cannot be tolerated. It's funny watching people pull out the 'christian victim' fantasy as if they are oppressed, not the oppressor. When you can show me as many people organized, donating, and mobilized to not allow christians to marry each other, then you can pretend you're a victim.

Can't we all just mind our own business? How is two gay people getting married hurting any of us? Even if someone isn't "born gay", aren't they free to choose to live whichever lifestyle they please? As U.S. citizens, aren't we free to make our own decisions and live our lives they way we desire? Aren't we the country that promotes "liberty and justice for ALL"?

Unfortunately, the throwback hillbillies that infest this forum only like gelid, bezitted white people that think exactly like they do. "Jumpin' yer sister is OK, it's them.... we can't abide by". Pathetic inbred white trash.

Now, if I lived next store, I'd be kinda hopin' for a blueberry! I kind of wish you WERE next door. I think we might have some laughs, though opposite poles. If you did live next door, I would slip a pie onto your porch sometime. I bake for all my neighbors, the cool ones! Scones are easy to do and go literally from bag of flour to finished scones like in 20 minutes.

Now if you put a nice bluberry pie on the porch, gotta return the plate with something...I make a nice spaghetti entree with sour cream, ricotta, parmesan, basil, etc...Better yet, come on over for dinner. You're a cool guy.

The bakery at our grocery store sells pastries, the only thing they bake there is bread, and it all looks good but $8.99 for a pie is a bit steep, esp when I will be the only one eating the whole pie.(partner does NOT like sweets).=)

They are also the ones where I found my pie recipes. Good luck!

My wife, two daughters, a granddaughter and myself ate Chick-fil-a number ones, supersized for three of us and the other two had nuggets. DELICIOUS!!! Cars taking up three parking lots, line out both doors and drive through vehicles wrapped around the building. News of another one near the airport blocking traffic to get in. Sorry about that. It ain't about sexual preference. It's about good food. Have a Chick-fil-a day everyone.

I'm not eating at chik-fil-a any more for the fact that I never eat there in the first place. I find their food to be mediocre and the people that walk around in cow print clothing for free meals are just silly!

A portion of the money you paid for those sandwiches went directly to oppress your fellow Americans into second-class citizens. Would you eat at Klan Chicken? Just curious where you draw the line.
