The voters of WI exercising their rights, but it is stupid and misguided. The changes to collective bargaining rights have already saved some school districts ALOT of money, without taking away real concessions/rights of the teachers. Also, the recall is going to cost the WI taxpayers $7million dollars. Yeh, that's smart.

But anytime anyone tries to rein in the teachers unions, everyone screams What about the children??!! Teachers unions don't give a rats arse about the children. They only care about POWER.
And before any of you liberal morons jump in: I did not say that teachers don't care about the kids, I said the UNIONS.

What was stupid was pushing through a hard right agenda and thinking there would not be a backlash, unions or not.

It was the business tax cut, it was the rejection of high speed rail money that cause a company to eliminate 200 jobs on the spot, it was the conversion of civil service jobs to political patronage, it was the hiring of inexperience campaign connected people to fill those jobs, it's the ongoing criminal investigation into his time as Milwaukee County Executive, it was the proposed sale of publicly owned power plants via a no bid process to Koch Industries subsidiaries, it's the attempt to allow insurance companies to drop birth control coverage, it's the elimination of Title V programs, it's the slashing of Medicare that caused the feds to force him to expand the program (something he now tries to take credit for), it's budget cuts to schools that go far beyond "union" issues, it's the departure of 18,000+(twice the projected number) state and local government workers who "retired" last year in response to Walker's actions leaving gaps in services, knowledge and extremely high new hire costs, it's the blocking of federal grants "out of principle" to local governments and agencies, it's stupidity like requiring abstinence only education, it's the roll back of clean water standards,....

The protests were the most visible reaction to Walker's overreach, but millions of people in Wisconsin have been directly affected. Being a poster child for the Tea Party and the Koch Brothers doesn help him in a high turnout election, either.

His odds are getting shorter.

You are such a douchebag for accusing me or posting under someone else's name. How many names to you post under? A dozen. I only post under this name, jagoff. Convince Tammy to take down those defamatory posts yet? Didn't think so.

No, I am not. Still throwing darts. But, any time you want to say this shit to me in person, you just let me know, tough guy.

Now, go whine to Tammy some more about how no one understands you.

Only children throw tantrums. Like you do on iBerkshires, accusing Tammy of being in the tank for DA. You know nothing about anything. You're so uninformed, you're not even a dilettante. There is no way you graduated from college. You are a mean, intolerant tool who demonizes anyone who disagrees with you, and all you have to offer are insults a 15 year old would hurl. I have no fake personas, unlike you, who uses Nope, Unreal, Question, Paper, A Voter, Fair and Balanced, Lower Taxes, and others. Now, because of your inane tirades and intellectualy lazy remarks, these threads consist of nothing more than you, Ozzie, and some demented soul in Pittsfield who simply can't handle someone who holds marginally liberal views.

So, again, either you have the balls to tell me these things in person, or you can go back to pretending anyone gives a shit about what you have to say.

Daily Horoscope for June 4

Aries

Take care today Aries, because the emotional landscape in your neighborhood will be full of pitfalls during the coming fortnight, as it has been since the Solar Eclipse on May 20. The more convinced you are that you're right, the harder it will be to navigate your way around forthcoming events. If you feel resentful of someone, perhaps a neighbor or sibling, you need to get your feelings out in the open, rather than burying them deeper, where they'll fester and lead to more problems in the long run.
