As I have made clear on numerous times over the past several months, I am not a fan of Topix, but it is what it is, and I have no power to end it. Readers can help immensely by flagging the posts they consider offensive or by e-mailing me directly with concerns (gdrohan@thetranscript.com). Believe me, this was far from the worst we've seen. Keeping this site policed is a constant battle but one that we will continue. Other publications have simply let the venom spew, unchecked. We will not let that happen here. Glenn - you're right and I almost apologize for my post. The venom that I have seen on this site and other newspaper topix sites are disgusting and disheartening - I can't imagine how anyone might be able to police it. It's a real shame.

Clearly - I don't know how this works so I'm done posting. I think I'm done reading also.

If he's not running, then why not take his name off of the ballot? Then again,I think he should run for Mayor. From what I've seen,he'd be 'PERFECT'. It would be a simple transition from one ignorant, obnoxious selfish blowhard to another. And if that did'nt work out, then he could always get work as an 'INTERROGATOR' in Iraq.

businesses like jaes get a t.i.f...tax incremental financing....they pay full tax on the value of the property before improvements and then a % of the value of the improvements.....it is typically used to foster job growth...yet in some cases, such as the lowes and clark biscuit, it can also be used to curry political favor....oh and dave, my name is not on the ballot but thanks for the compliments....

Another post from the Dark Side.
Can we at least give the guy credit for trying, and for having his personal business splashed about the World Wide Web?
I don't agree with Ctrem about many things, but your BS spew smacks of a personality conflict.
Personality conflicts have no place in town or city governance.

I completely agree with you. This guy must have a personal feud with Chris. Only cowards attack from the dark. I don't always agree with Chris, but he dewserves credit for trying.
