Hear this, I have a job and it will be taking me out of town frequently. I have teamed up with a lighting company based in Florida. We have opened a Northeast Division. I am have not been promised a job by Alcombright, in fact I have not even spoken to Dick in over 6 months. It is no secret that I am supporting Dick Alcombright in his campaign for mayor of the City of North Adams, and you should do the same.

I would suggest that in your new job you should try to learn the the meaning of the word integrity.

Yikes, after reading these grammar school exchanges between 'elected' officials, I have come to the conclusion that none are worthy of public office.'Know when to hold 'em, know when to fold 'em".....

rocky wrote: <quoted text>gail why not clean up youre mill on state rd . instead of worrying about cris. I agree,"Rocky". Before an individual can worry about their neighbors, "blight" they should clean up their own. They should work on stopping Eminent Domain Abuse in North Adams, instead of being an advocate for it. What if the residents of North Adams stole their blight infested properties for profit? Or made them spend thousands of dollars on repairs; just so we can steal it anyway.

We need NEW people for council. NA has evolved and continues to do so, however, public officials act very provincial.

It has evolved and continues to do so because of good public officials. You like some of the fools on this forum you want to change because they are "very provincial". Give me a break!

I am disappointed that Mr. Tremblay will not be running for city council,"I think he would have made a great mayor".
We need many more like him on city council.
We do not need head-nodders.
We need individuals willing to debate, as well as being able to compromise. To have the courage to stand on that, "limb" whenever it is needed.
But...always in the end, doing what is right for the citizens of North Adams.
I wish him and his family all the best.
