Greylock Valley Apartments works on new image

Good for them, its a start. If they can remove the drug dealers, they might just have a chance.

So glad for the improvements at Greylock!!!!!!!! Tell me, is there any kind of funding or grants for landlords that need extra help financially to make improvements.. PLEASE post sources....Thank you!

I am so amazed that the housing authority is coming up with $50,000 for improvements to this "neighborhood". They believe that building a children's swing set is going to remove the drugs and other illegal activites? Great now the drug dealers have a good place to sit while they wait to sell their products.....

Lets define project:A planned endeavor usually with a specific goal accomplished in several steps or stages or an urban "low income housing building".This is a project any way you want to put it. Lies, empty promises,unfair and deceptive acts these and more are what we live with. A new playground or community room a waste of money. Safety, not here.Hiding the real problems is what their doing and everyday breaching our contracts. What we need is H.U.D. to do a full investigation into this place.I,m sure those that read this will know who wrote it, a 26 year resident of hell. The good people who live in here deserve better and there are good,respectful people who live here. By the way i'm the one who came up with the name Greylock Valley ,but even i know it's the project.Those that answer this will be those who are good tenents or the worst of the worst.Bill how many empty promises have you made already and what was your job before you became our "MANAGER"? Where is the board of directors in all this,we don,t see them.Right now the coalition is dreaming, if they think they will ever make this EUTOPIA.

Wow, step back a bit folks. Bill Schrade is devoted to each and every resident in both of the neighborhoods he works with. He is goes above and beyond the call of duty! What everyone seems to forget is that Bill carries out the law of the contract that everyone is bound to and puts forth the word of the Housing Directors. He makes every tenant's needs and safety his priority. So perhaps it is time to stop placing blame and applaud him for his efforts. Much has changed in the little time he has been there and it is clear he and the Housing staff and Directors have a vision for the neighborhoods and clearly his mission is to see it to fruition.

How nice that the Housing Authority has $50,000 for a new swingset and a new sign! Unfortunately, the place is crawling with bedbugs, drugs, feral cats, and asbestos! Too bad for the real problems, let's mask them with a new sign!

Bill Shrade is a puppet whose strings are pulled by the office officials. He just makes it sound as though he's a REAL manager but he has no authority whatsoever. Promises,he doesn't know what a promise is. He's just here for show, a bobble head and in a way thats to bad because the or his people as he refers to them have no idea what their doing either. As far as the $50,000 why wasn't it put towards our security cameras? Bill said there were police in here to prevent the crimes that have been occuring,I guess the children on the fenced in playground can watch for crimes. I thought fences were prohibited because of the dangers they cause.Oh well lets put them where children play. See, real smart ideas from real smart people. Hey km, You need to keep you dog on leash and not worry about running every chance you have to Bill to rat on someone! You support Bill but yet you don't follow your own lease that states that your dog needs be under 20lbs. Your a great tentant! Do the world a favor keep your clothes on and your legs close!

It would be my guess that you are one of the biggest offenders in the neighborhood, as those tend to be the most outspoken. Until you KNOW Bill Schrade and CAN EVEN SPELL his name correctly I would keep your personal comments about him to yourself.

Bill Schrade is doing right by those that deserve the assistance a neighborhood like this provides and not those folks that abuse such privileges, that's right it is a privilege to have a financial assisted apartment there and not a right! Learn the difference and how to appreciate the good that is being done in your surroundings!
