Personally, I think that Council President Bloom made a huge mistake by not appointing Councilor Barrett to any committees. Bloom has certainly set a precedent for any future councilor, who may decide that he 'doesn't have the time', or doesn't want to put in the extra effort to serve on a committee. If the former mayor didn't want to show up at meetings of the committees that Bloom may have appointed him too, then it falls on the freshman councilor, not on a lack of appointments from the chair.

I agree to the point that Barrett should have been appointed to the Fincom---he would only be one vote and even if he could get -let's say Marden to go with him that's a total of two votes----a committee recommendation is not binding on the full Council---PLUS DA and Bloom violated a long standing principle-- sometimes attricuted to Sun Tsu-- maybe Machiavelli--and certainly Vito Don Corleone--------keep your friends close but keep your enemies closer

Does he spend his whole life belittling people? Is it because he needs to feel better about his sad life or does he get joy out of being a bully?

LOL..tell your buddy the Mayor nice job. getting the young adults who grew up in the PJs that is was JB3 fault. they had nothing to do. the mayor Such a liar..it was there parents fault. There was plenty to do with JB3 sports programs where affordable. Parents choose to spend there money on DRUGS..The young adults today SPORTS PROGRAMS have become out of reach for kids in the PJs..Thats how he won lying to people who have no idea what politics is all about..Fixing that look out next election.. JB3 does have the young adults who finished school and work on his side. The mayor has the LAZY BUMS for now.. Aiming to change that.

Didn't Ruberto's wife Ellen die from cancer? Well maybe she died from something else and Ruberto just said she died from cancer so he could parade her out there to get the sympathy vote for his last term. Ellen was married to an officially unethical dirty rotten irrational dysfuctional hostile threatening baboons ass of a mayor which is enough to make anyone sick, so maybe.
