the 'too important, too busy" councilor

I really can't believe what I have read in the media, and watched on Northern Berkshire Community Television the last few days. First, there is an interview in the Transcript, which quotes a first term city councilor as saying that, (and I paraphrase), his schedule is 'too busy' to be appointed to any more than the finance committee. Then, last night at the council meeting, (and i paraphrase again), that he is too experienced to vote on banning parking on the south side of Protection Ave. I was always under the impression that councilors were to make time to serve on committees, and vote on the more 'mundane' things involving city government. I must have been wrong.

Very simple. DA and The Walking Dead don't want him on the Finance cmte because he will point out their lies when they claim we need an override come June. Mark my words

JB III on the finance committee makes it hard for the tax and spend crew to continue on with the lies. You may have stopped citizens from speaking at council but you can not stop JB III.
One last thing....Marie Harpin voted to stop citizens from asking questions and that amoung other things is reason for her to be voted out.

JB can't get over the fact he lost mayor and being on city council is the closest he has to being in the corner office. He admitted last night he's too good to do the work required of city councilors. What an insult to the other city councilors and the voters who elected him to serve as a city councilor. Instead we got a lazy ego trip.

No one voted to stop citizens from speaking. That is a bald faced lie. Limiting speech to the topic at hand is perfectly permissible.

if you didn't realize that was what you were going to get as a councilor, LONG before the election, you are gullible.( and I mean that in a general sense, not at you particularly)
