Pit bulls at Corropolese Towing Yard

I am asking for anyone's help in any info regarding Corropolese's Pit Bull's in the Impound Yard at Stoney Industrial Complex at Marley & West Marshall Streets.

I was attacked by 2 of the 3 Pit Bulls there, i went there to try any obtain info on my car that was towed some time ago and was trying to get info if it was there on said grounds, when i was there, the guys there were in the left side of the lot and the gate was wide open, i was not aware these dogs were loose, when i entered the Yard, i did not find anyone there, due to them being in the body shop persee and the dogs running freely, well the moral, they attacked me and caused numerous wounds and i had to jump on top of a truck there, it took them about 40 minutes to even know i was being circled by these dogs, while i was on the truck, i have severe Trama over this, can anyone plese tell me of any other acts of these dogs that seem to run free in the lot of this business ?

These dogs are extremely dangerous and these guys don't even care for others well being, they would not even call the Police or Ambulance for me.

Can Anyone please help me with any previous info or history of these dogs.

These dogs need to be destroyed, they would of killed me if i did not have a place to jump up on, also when there Front Gate is wide open, you can not read any signs about entering and be noted about Dangerous Dogs on premises.

Well, first of all I hope you are not labeling all American Pit Bull Terriers as vicious!!! I own 2 APBT's and neither one would ever hurt any one!!! Also, how do you know these dogs are pure bred APBT'S??? Did you know there are over 30 breeds of dogs that resemble the APBT in looks, NOT temperment!!! Go to www.
This proves how many other dogs resemble the APBT!!! So for you to say they were Pit Bulls is not accurate! It took me multiple trys to guess the APBT and I have been woking with the breed and have been around the breed for many years!!! Also, why want to punish the dogs??? Who is responsible for the dogs in the first place! An owner like that could get a retriever, or cocker spaniel and it would get mean because of how irresponcible the OWNER IS!!! Think of it this way, if someone shot another person who are you going to punish? The gun, or the person responscible for the gun?!? I think you should go to your local police station and fill out a report!!! Not discriminating the dogs because of there breed!!! Complain the OWNER IS NOT BEING A RESPONCIBLE ANIMAL OWNER!!! Dont say, Some vicious Pit Bulls tried killing me! Yes, the dogs will probably be euthinized(which sounds like a better life for them any way) but then no one will be in danger!! I would also persue the OWNER gets in trouble not only the dogs!!! If the owner doesnt get in trouble they are just going to get more dogs and make them mean too!!! Give the dogs a chance it is not there fault that there owner is a irresponcible A** hole!!!

Hey Amy: First and Foremost, i did not state or ever stated that all Pit Bulls were Vicious, i said these Pits Were and they did try to kill me, so the Moral is Yes to me that is Vicious, i got 10 stiches in one leg and various punture wounds on both legs, among deep tears, that have to be constantly dressed, have you ever had Rabbis Shots, there not fun and i have to have them for 30 days, ever 3 days, in and around the wounds.

As for the Police, reports were made and Health Department was notified, this inquire was to obtain any info of past incidents and here you go off half cocked about types of said.

Second; Have you ever been attacked by said, have you ever punched one in the face and eye and see that nothing fased it, i was scared to death, when you almost get your legs tore off then tell me how you feel about the incident.

Third;Yes the owner is responsible for the dogs actions, i was not labeling the Dogs as you so defensively put it, the guys in the yard would not even call the police, so see i was not putting the blame on the dogs, i was questioning for any help as to past Experiences of said dogs for the wreckless actions of there owners, ohhhh a little forenote, i lived in The Bronx, NY for 9 years, so you really don't have to be a cop with that Experience to know what a True Pit, as you put it looks like.

Maybe if you are going to be such an A** about what others have to say you should NOT post on a forum!!! People will write what ever they want!!! If I want to write about the beauty of the APBT Breed here I WILL!!! Maybe it will effect the thoughts of others that read this!!! By the way, once again I strongly suggest you to take the FIND THE PIT BULL test so you can realize it is very likely that these dogs were not Pit BUlls

"Amy" you are completely trying to make the victim look like the one at fault just because you happen to own a pit. Your dog had NOTHING to do with this persons horrific experience and your comments are ridiculous. Have some respect. Your post was inappropiate for the context of this forum.

FIRST: why did you have to get rabies shots, even if these dogs were guard dogs they more than likely were up on their shots.

SECOND: half cocked or not. still no proof they were PIT BULLS! everyone cocked or not knows that all junk yards auto or not have watch (guard) dogs. oh yeah! and of course put them to sleep because they were doing their job! oh yea....10 whole stitches!

THIRD: you weren't going after the dogs quote from yourself as follows "These dogs need to be destroyed" nothing about the owners....kill the dogs! there are laws that protect animals from people like you. so they are not put to sleep on a first bite attack. hopefully the owner knows this and give praises to these dogs for again doing the job they were trained to do. you were on private gated property gate opened or closed.

and last it's good to know that if i am ever in a place i shouldn't be and the animals are doing their job i can shout someone from the " BRONX"
please i need to identify if they are true pit bulls or not!

Call the cops and ask about the leash law that they have for Norristown. There is one that dogs have to be on a leash in a fenced area and when they are out of the fenced area. Don't know if it pertains to junkyard dogs though.
