Does anyone else notice the ridiculous number of trucks going through Ennis, including hazardous materials trucks right near our schools, hospital and manor? Most of these are not local trucks, but out of state trucks trying to save time and using our town as a short cut to far off places. They are noisy, annoying and dangerous. Enough is enough. Let's do something to get our quiet town back.

most of them used 191 along the galatin untill all of the construction. 191 has been a lot safer sence they've been forced to short-cut using ennis. i agree they should be using the interstate. that's the real answer. peace

I agree with trying to get our town of Ennis back to the quiet place it once was. Our Madison Valley has become an Interstate! Please email any incidents with long haul trucks to our email:

Also if you want to be on a mailing list to get updates on how to express your opinions about this issue to local, state and federal officials, please include your email address, or physical if no email. I was in Ennis at the end of June and stayed at a friend's place that lives on and has his business on RT 287. I think we counted every two minutes a truck would go past. Some times 3 and 4 trucks together. I'd love to move to Ennis and I agree there are to many trucks on that highway. The roads in Ennis isn't that big

Arlene Knall I was in Ennis at the end of June and stayed at a friend's place that lives on and has his business is on RT 287. I think we counted every two minutes a truck would go past. Some times 3 and 4 trucks together. I'd love to move to Ennis and I agree there are to many trucks on that highway. The roads in Ennis are not that big. I am from PA and never thought there would be that many trucks. They should be re-routed to go another way.
